The campground is renowned for its pristine grounds, welcoming atmosphere, and exceptional fishing opportunities on Round Lake. Guests can take advantage of various amenities, including a lodge, recreation area, store, and a picturesque lakeside picnic area. The campground's rich history is deeply rooted in the land's settlement by the Sioux, who chose the east side of Round Lake for its natural protection from prairie fires. A portion of the property was acquired with a settler’s certificate in 1928 and has remained in the owner's family for nearly a century. Over the years, the campground has transformed significantly, including the replacement of the original bait shack/snack shop with a versatile convenience store that enhances the guest experience.
