Our property North Ridge Pines is often known as The River Farm and our family became stewards of this unique and beautiful rural farm in 2014. It is a rare combination of deciduous and pine trees, prairie meadows that bloom in mid summer and fall, a small section of the LeSueur River as well as a pond. Our goal is to provide a small private camping get-away spot in nature for you to relax. We have 4 sites where you do not see the other sites from your location. We have a few lawn games such as bean bag toss/corn hole, croquet, as well as a canoe, 2 person kayak, and a paddle board to enjoy on the pond. The pond does not have any fish. Life jackets available for youth and adults. The River Farm is a historical property along a scenic area of the LeSueur River Valley with a rolling hillside and diverse topography. Remote valley offers peace and quite with a few frogs, fireflies to enjoy in the summer nights. Pets are allowed at the sites, but for safety please be with your pet or have your pet on a leash when here. When local or Statewide fire bands are in effect they will apply to all campsites. Site 2 The Pond
The hospitality was incredible, they woke up at 2 am to facilitate our arrival from a 12 hour drive, and setup a potty tent and fixed us up with firewood and clean water and a bundle of apples that tasted good. The second day it was going to rain so they offered us the cabin at no extra charge. I would love to stay again and the accomodations and amenities were excellent.

The property was beautiful! Jane was a terrific host, rescuing us from Google’s poor directions and making sure we had just the right site on their land! Wish we had had more time to truly explore the property and enjoy the relaxing atmosphere. Would definitely recommend!

This is the best camping trip of the year. We went hiking on the trails and it was very relaxing. Our dog loved it. This is our go-to spot for quick and promptu weekend camping. The hosts are wonderful and we will be back many many more times.

They gave me option to switch to the Pond, due to harvest across the field. They are the nicest people! Both sites were amazing. So relaxing and amazing views. They were extremely accommodating and very helpful. Definitely will be back. The entire area was very peaceful.

Site 1 The Pines
Two times camping on Daniel's land at the Pines Site- we LOVED IT! It was private and had a beautiful view of pine trees, a meadow, and the stars. It is kid friendly and a great camping site if you want somehting private and close to some State Parks. Great hosts as well. We loved hearing the owls and seeing shooting stars! Highly recommend!

The pond site was beautiful. I liked the walking trails around the property as well. The host was very kind. Nice and relaxing stay!
