This off-grid (NO RUNNING WATER) cabin is nestled in beautiful mixed forest five miles inland from Lake Superior. It sleeps up to 4 and includes propane heat and cooking stove/oven, as well as limited solar produced electricity. A wood stove provides additional heat and ambiance. An outdoor fire pit and gas grill (and charcoal grill) are other cooking options. A short trail leads to a vault privy and outdoor games and night sky lounge chairs are available in the shed. Hike the groomed trails on-site, hop on the nearby Superior Hiking Trail or head up to one of the North Shore State Parks. All dishes, cooking supplies and bed linens are provided. Showers vouchers are provided during summer months for the Burlington campground in Two Harbors.Our remote, very private, OFF GRID Hideaway gives visitors an experience of wilderness a few short miles from Two Harbors and the shore of Lake Superior. Power is supplied by solar/battery, battery lanterns and propane lights. Furnace and oven/stove are propane. There is a full kitchen (but no refrigerator) with an in-house water system at the sink, an outhouse, a grill, fire pit and indoor wood stove. A separate bedroom area provides some privacy for families or friends. We supply firewood and utility water for washing dishes and hands. Hike or snowshoe 20 acres of onsite trails or nearby SHT and state parks.

We had the best time at Brien and Shelley’s place. The cabin is clean, cozy, has a variety of board games, and even bowls/treats for your dog. The property is so quiet and peaceful. My dog loves exploring! We can’t wait to come back again, hopefully in the fall.

Cute cabin with just about everything you would need for a short or long stay. Love the location in Two Harbors so close to the beautiful Minnesota North Shore. Bonus that it's close enough to grocery stores and restaurants while also feeling so secluded while your at the cabin. We stayed 5 nights and enjoyed every moment!😊

Great quiet spot. Perfect for the dogs. For off grid had good lighting, propane stove and heat and extremely clean outhouse. Would stay at again!
