Tired of the traffic? Can't stand all the continuous noise from the craziness of the cities? Do we have a place for you less than an hour away from the twin cities or Rochester! It is a 35 acres site with walking trails (3 miles). This property has a creek flowing through the property. It is the middle of nowhere. We are on a gravel road with very little traffic. We have 3 spots for tents and 1 for RV/campers. Each has a stone fire-ring & picnic table/wood table. We would love to have you out here. Restore & renew at what we consider to be our own retreat-like oasis. Pets are welcome and children will love playing by the brook and walking the trails. Check in after 3 (no entrance after sunset), Check Out at Noon Pack in Pack out- no littering please We are Rustic so no public restrooms/showers No smoking 2 vehicles max unless prior approval with management Pets OK- on leash in public areas/trails, off leash at campsite OK ***No entrance to grounds after sunset Onsite: Firewood available ($5 a bundle cash preferred or Venmo) Dennison (2 miles): Gas station & Fireside restaurant (check out their ribs, wings & waffle fries!) Nerstrand (2 miles): Gas station & Boots & Lu restaurant (breakfast on weekends) ***Nerstrand Big Woods Park! Walk to their waterfalls- Northfield (8 miles): Breweries, grocery, and antiquing Can't wait to meet you!

This site sits on a hilltop overlooking the property with beautiful sunrise/sunset views with a stone firepit & picnic table. Easy drive up a grass trail to set up your tent. You will feel on top of the world and yet away from everyone with only a partial view of 1-2 houses way in the distance! We have 35 acres with many sites from close up to far away from the main building site. The views are amazing!! We have a meadow area with numerous different types of birds. We also have a wooded area of the property with a creek. This area is abundant with wildlife. You will not find a quieter location than our property. No cars, no car noises, no lights, just quiet.

Site 2 is a beautiful partly shaded, quiet area off the trail just across from the wood walking bridge over the brook. There is rustic wood "table" for eating or just sitting next to the stone fireplace. From this site you feel completely surrounded by nature. Watch the fireflies at night, and lay out under the stars.

Site 3 is tucked away in a hollow among trees. This is a beautiful shaded site. There is also a raised bed for tents and a firepit. There is a separate parking area approximately 20 feet away so you can easily walk supplies to and fro.

We loved this property. The owners didn't realize we were there till the next day but rode out to say hi to us and let us know we could take our time tearing down which we really appreciated. There was tons of space to roam and my son put his tent up in a separate area from the main campsite which the owner said was ok. I hung a hammock by the creek and had the best nap of my life. The bugs were not too bad the only thing I would mention is that the stinging nettle or bull thistle (not sure which, I thought it was nettle but the images don't look right on Google) was quite prevalent all over the rent site so I put down a tarp to stop it from getting me. I highly recommend walking or driving as much of the property as possible. The stand of birch trees was pretty cool too! I will be back!

Mark was very friendly and led me to the campsite on arrival. Peaceful, beautiful, and only very minimal noise. The picnic table and fire pit were a great touch! Gorgeous in late summer.

Perched atop a gentle hill, the site offered breathtaking views over a vast expanse of treetops, creating a natural tapestry that was both humbling and awe-inspiring. -Wildlife galore at every turn and peripheral , offering a sense of peace and privacy that is hard to find in more crowded campsites. The air was fresh, as well as the natural spring water running through the middle of the prairie. As night falls, the countryside quickly transforms, revealing a blanket of stars that seemed almost within reach. The moon phase delivered illumination to the landscape making for good natural night light up on the hillside! Most importantly to be known is ; The hospitality of Mark & Wendy during our stay was immense and magical adding a special touch to the entire experience. In essence - this is the stay of the season for us and staying on this property is not just a retreat into nature, but a truly enriching encounter with wonderful people who see sharp and live freely with bright spirits doing what they love.

Booked Mark's Hilltop site at the last minute and he was very responsive in providing details to drive right up to the campsite through the app. He also provided a nice map to check out the meadow -- startled a couple white tail deer during my walk. Being on the hilltop, there were great sunset and sunrise views -- with the big sky above.

Stayed here for one night with a new camper. The hosts were very friendly and provided a map of the great trails that the hosts have maintained throughout the property. Great for our two large dogs. Peaceful, quiet and very well maintained. Nice fire pit and plenty of space for us to pull in with our Sequoia and small camper.

The site was shady and the ground, soft and freshly mowed - ideal for a tent. The spot feels sheltered, and there’s a tiny stream that runs nearby. If you want a view to the horizon, it’s a five minute walk to the top of the hill on the property, with lovely views in all directions. The owners keep a small network of paths mowed that wind through the property, some in shady groves of aspen and others through grassy fields. It’s great for short hikes or ambles with small children. The reception from the hosts was warm and helpful - clear communication. Note that the paths are also the ‘roads’ to the sites. Our Outback was fine, but cars with lower clearance should double-check with the hosts. We had a lovely two days there - would definitely go back. Recommended for a quiet country getaway.

A very beautiful and relaxing spot! Mark and Wendy have created a wonderful spot on their land and provided me with a map of their property. Great manicured trails through the woods and meadowlands. The stars were amazing at night. Can’t wait to go back!

The perfect retreat! Mark and Wendy are incredibly kind and make sure you have everything you need for the best camping experience. The location is great. We didn’t get bothered by a bugs or critters. It really was a spiritual experience. There’s something really special about the land and the peaceful environment.
