Inspired by the late Danny “Barney” Adams, our mission is to carry on his legacy of sharing the simple joys of nature with both young and old. We strive to create a warm and welcoming atmosphere that reflects his passion for the great outdoors. At Barney’s, we prioritize simplicity and relaxation. Escape the hustle and bustle of daily life in our spacious two-bedroom cabins, featuring vaulted ceilings, a cozy knotty pine interior, large decks, log siding, full kitchens, and baths. Each cabin is equipped with cable TV and wireless internet, along with access to a fish cleaning house and dock space. Enjoy complimentary use of our six kayaks and two canoes to explore the surrounding waters. During the spring and summer months, take advantage of our direct access to Little Sand Lake, with water routes leading to neighboring Sand, Bowstring, and Rice Lakes.
