Travel Trailer Camping
Awesome spot to camp! We brought our travel trailer here and it was a great spot to park with level ground and easy maneuvering for a smaller camper. Huge bonus having a nice firepit with chairs and an outhouse nearby. Plenty of attractions nearby as well! We would definitely recommend this campground to a friend!

Great location, great price
Our hosts were very welcoming and accommodating. They are very knowledgeable about the local mountain biking as well. Camping might be a little tight with 4 different parties back there, but we had the back area to ourselves nearly all week and it was wonderful. Quiet, peaceful, and secluded in the forest, close to Marquette and the noquamanon trails. Would definitely return

Very nice and helpful
This was a very nice and comfortable place to stay. Our car battery died in the middle of the night and the owners were very helpful and gave us a jump right away. I would highly recommend:)

The campground was very nice and organize. The bathroom/outhouse was great it was clean with a motion sensor light to see at night!

Very thoughtfully laid out camping area with a fire pit, a very clean and nice outhouse, grassy area for the tent, and easy directions for arrival. Super close to Marquette, too! I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to friends looking to camp in the area.

Wow. If you're looking for a alternative to what is available around Marquette, you can do no better than Joy's place. Private, quiet, clean and safe. And those tall maples, beautiful . It looks like 4 sites available but well spaced out with communal fire pit. We were the only ones there . Joy, thank you for sharing, we'll be back.

Peaceful and easy
About a 10 minute drive to downtown Marquette. Even shorter drive to meijer and Walmart.

Perfect spot near dt Marquett
My boyfriend and I loved our stay at Joy’s UP Gem. The address was easy to find, the hosts were responsive and friendly, and the camping area was well maintained with a touch of extra care (fire pit with chairs, tiki torches, clean outhouse, chicken coop, and potable water). Highly recommend!

Tenting camping with dogs
Great spot located behind the host home! The property here was beautiful & host was super friendly. There’s four camping spots located at the back of the property. Spots are small but worked great for us pitching a tent with our dogs. They also had a nice fire pit in the middle of the 4 sites & wood available to buy on demand.

Nice spot with access to Marquette. Green grass and a central, shared fire-pit. Dog friendly and quiet. Your fellow campers aren't too far away. we had some neighbor campers that rolled into camp at 12 midnight (who does that?) but that's not the host's fault. Would def stay again.
