The Hermitage (aka Naljor Gompa) is a private meditation/wellness retreat also offering adults-only cannabis-friendly camping. Naljor Gompa is overseen by Lama Lawapa Naljor, a well-known Tibetan Buddhist yogi and teacher. We are located at the edge of Roscommon State Forest in Prudenville, Michigan, just 6 miles south of historic Houghton Lake, the premier tourist town of northern Michigan for water and winter sports. Hike over a mile of trails on the property. We are located 1/2 mile from the major ORV trailheads and just 3 miles from major hiking trails.
