My 4 and a half acres has a natural pond on it. I raise ducks and the 8 different breeds are free range and swim all day in the pond. I am three mile from Lake Michigan and my town has a public access beach. I am surrounded by wineries, breweries and antique stores. I am in the country but only a few miles off the express way. Berrien County's adorable small towns are known for their special events all year round.Pitch your tent or pull your self-contained RV along side my pond for a relaxing night in the country. Wake up to ducks swimming in the pond and the sounds of nature all around you. Oh, and those ducks give me delicious eggs that are for sale! There are vineyards, wineries, breweries, and lots of small town activities to keep you busy. I am just a few miles from the interstate. You will love it here!

Overall camping here was a wonderful experience. The listing doesn’t go into great detail, there are no set sites more of an open field but there was more than enough room for us as several other groups were camping the same weekend. The porta potty was clean and it’s close enough to town to get supplies. If you’re staying a few days I would bring a table there’s no picnic tables. I would stay here again. The host was incredibly nice.

4th of July get away
Staying on Charisse’s land was such a joy! Myself and a couple of friends were in need of a get-away over the forth of July, and this spot was such a wonderful find. Plenty of space to set up camp, and even though there were quite a few people there at the same time as us we were still able to find a spot that felt mostly private. There were pamphlets left with all information needed for our stay as well as the host phone number, and when I called to check in she was a delight to speak too. The porta potty was also very well maintained, and having a place to dispose of trash on site was incredibly helpful. We were a less than 10 minute drive from multiple beaches, and the town of Bridgman itself was adorable. While there was no Wi-Fi cell service itself was also decent. For a two night stay this was a lovely place, and would 100% recommend to another.

Once A Pond A Time Campsites
Arrived Thursday afternoon and dispersed sites were already getting full. No markings posted so camp where you wish kind of adventure. We were expecting 8 sites vs. Allowing up to 8 groups to be dispersed as they choose. Seen host around 4 hrs after arrival to ask we if wanted to participate with bringing in the ducks. Privacy was limited if at all. One Porta potty and one large trash can for all to use. These filled up fast with the amount of guest during our time here. If you like the campground feel then this would be perfect. We prefer a little more privacy/nature vibe but that is our personal preference. Location was perfect for Indiana Dunes National Park and State Park. Additional parks were close by as well.

Cherisse's property was so nice! All the ducks were fun to watch and the duck eggs in the morning were a great touch. Very welcoming, especially for taking us last minute on a holiday. Thank you!
