Located on a private Lake Superior beach just 4 miles from The Porcupine Mountains State Park. This is the perfect base camp for adventures in the Porkies or North Country trail. Enjoy your time walking the beach, swimming in the big lake and watching the sunsets. This is a rustic campsite. The pad for a small camper is 30’x 28’. Plenty of space near beach for tents.This is a RUSTIC campsite. The pad for a small camper is 30’x 28’. Plenty of space near the beach for tents. A shipwreck is about a mile away to explore if you have kayaks. Enjoy a campfire on the beach while enjoying the sunset. Long tent stakes are recommended because tent sites are on sand ( beach).

Lake Superior Life
We originally only booked one night for a quick get away. We loved it so much we had to stay another night. We have already booked to come back again next week. I can't express how lovely this place is. I was hesitant to even leave a review as I love this spot so much and I'm sure it will be booked up in the future.

Slice of heaven
A little slice of heaven. My favorite hipcamp spot of all time! Tammy is wonderful and made sure we had everything we needed. Be sure to bring your kayaks if you have them as there is a ship wreck close by. The spot was easy to find with directions provided. There is a short walk to the beach down from parking/RV area and porta potty. There is a clearing right before beach perfect for tents. There is a picnic table on the beach as well as near the parking area. There is plenty of firewood around if you take a walk around. If you like rock hounding this is the place for you! Sunsets and sunrises are breathtaking. The dogs had a wonderful time as well, especially the fact they can be off leash. We had the most peaceful time and will defiantly be back.
