Established in 2015, we started as a family hunting site. Every year we have added more and we still plan to add more on. We love hanging out with family. We live in Fenton, MI but once it starts getting nicer outside we love to travel. Family means a lot to us. So we love taking the kids to our property. We are 30 minutes from Mackinaw city, 45 from Petosky, 10 minutes to Cheboygan. In between Mullett and Burt lake there is public access. Cute stores in downtown Indian river and in Cheboygan. Also near the cross in the woods. 30 mins from Gaylord. There’s snowmobile trails as well. So much to do. We also have 5 hunting blinds we would rent as well. If arrival is going to be later I’d advise grab any goods before you get there because the closest store is 15 mins away which would be the Walmart located in Cheboygan. Pets allowed. Please make sure to pick up after them. As anything have fun and enjoy your stay and the peace and quiet of the great up north. Please be respectful to neighbors around as well as reminder these are 200sq feet a piece cabins it’s not the Marriott Hotel but we have all you’ll need and more.

Rasch’s Retreat
Best possible retreat for extended
I loved the divisions of food/sleeping/shower-toilet between three discrete cabins. The fire pit was set in a way that sheltered it from stronger breezes. The outdoor furniture is so comfortable that I will be searching for similar where I live. It was the best supplied place we stayed on our three week trip utilizing many Airbnb and hotel properties. I chose to tent under the trees. Beautiful wooded nature trails as well.

Cozy cabins, great space!
The cabins and surrounding area were great! We pitched two tents in addition to using the sleeping cabin for our family group. The kitchen is well stocked with pots, pans and cooking basics—better than a lot of AirBnBs we’ve stayed at in the past. The fire pit was great and we also used the grill to make burgers once. The s’mores kits were a nice treat, too! The bathroom cabin was nice, and the outhouse was a nice bonus. Rachel was very responsive when we had questions. We will be back again!

Rasch’s Retreat
We loved Rachel’s Retreat. A peaceful place to retreat with your family and has plenty of room for friends to join you also if you wanted. Fully stocked kitchen with a couch hideaway bed, six beds in the cabin next door, both units have tvs, air conditioning, heaters if needed. Fire pit in between both cabins with plenty of seating and a cute little shower/bathroom shed close to the bedroom cabin. All you need is your sheets, sleeping bags, and pillows and your good to go. Plenty to explore in the area! Rachel is a wonderful host and I would recommend to anyone

Cabin Camping!!!
Rasch's Retreat was excellent!! Finding a safe space for a trip with cancer patient when normally camping trips are tents and pop ups and shared bathrooms was worrisome for me. This was a great change of normal "camping" for us. Host provides so much in the cabins we didn't have to stress about packing so much and were able to enjoy without worrying forgetting that one small thing. Kitchen is fully stocked only needed food. Ac and heat provided to keep comfortable. All cabins very clean, with cleaning supplies available. When the weather's not nice tv. and wifi. Grassy area track in front was great for kids to run side by side, close enough that we could hear and see them but large enough to run. Plenty of trails and woods with lakes nearby to enjoy. Small beach areas and drop ins up and down the road. Close enough to stores and gas if needed. With our situation we needed a hospital close by and got that too. Neighbors are there but far enough and hidden that you aren't looking into another house. Rachel was great to work with always available to answer questions. She has done an amazing job for just starting this year. None of us were ready to leave at the end of the week it was a great chance to get away and relax. Will definitely have this on list to do again.

Awesome spot!
Rasch’s Retreat was a wonderful spot for our two families with 7 total kids to camp. We set up additional tents to accommodate everyone while all the girls shared the bunkhouse cabin. Our teen girls surely appreciated having full bathroom and shower facilities and our preteen boys had a blast exploring the 40 acres of woods and playing baseball and football in the field area. So many places to explore nearby, Ocqueoc Falls and local nature preserves to hike at and a day trip to Mackinac Island. I wish we had another week to explore.

Best stay at Rachel’s retreat
I went along to the retreat with my friends and we absolutely loved the stay over there. It’s an amazing place with a kitchen, bedroom and a restroom. Also, they had all the utensils in the kitchen. They were also very kind to put few s'mores kits for us to have. There was a huge vacant area as well to play games. Also, not to forget the lights at the campfire place ♥️ I would surely recommend the place to my friends.
