Rambadt Park stands out as a unique 33-acre community park, offering a harmonious blend of diverse natural landscapes and recreational amenities. This park features 13 campsites, a vibrant playground area, scenic trails, a performance bandshell, a picnic pavilion, and an exciting disc golf course, making it an ideal destination for outdoor enthusiasts and families alike. Nestled in the north-western part of the city, near the intersection of US-10 and Old US-131, Rambadt Park is easily accessible. A highlight of the park is its nature trail, which connects to the Linear Park Purple Heart Trail. This trail includes a picturesque crossing over the Hersey River via the "Little Mac" Bridge, linking visitors to Westerburg Park, White Pine Trail State Park, and the Pere Marquette Trail. Open from May 1st to October 30th, the park offers camping opportunities with rates that include access to various park activities, electricity and water hookups, a sanitary station, and restrooms equipped with showers. Reservations are accepted, ensuring a hassle-free experience for campers. Additionally, visitors can enjoy free concerts in the park every Friday night from June through August, adding to the vibrant community atmosphere.
