This was a wonderful secluded peaceful place to stay. He even had a kybo out at the campsite with a picnic table and fire ring. It was very clean and we enjoyed our stay. We also got to buy some organic grown apples!

This was the perfect spot to get away for some peace and quiet! There was a perfect amount of space for setting up camp, and the picnic table, fire pit, and loads of fire wood were amazing to have. 10/10 recommend!!

Beautiful campsite overall, but a few things future campers should know!
There’s no shade, so definitely bring your own canopy. The port-a-potty is also uphill, which may be difficult for campers with mobility issues.
We also heard gunshots during the day and first thing in the morning. The owners reassured us they weren’t shooting toward the campsite, but we did find spent bullet casings at our site despite shooting not being allowed. We’re used to the noise, but it could definitely be scary for children or skittish pets.
The site could use some upkeep as the grass was tall and the fire pit was cracked. Free firewood was a nice perk, but be prepared for huge logs/stumps that need to be chopped. Bring an axe and someone strong! 😂
Other than that, it’s a beautiful spot and we enjoyed our stay!

Loved camping here! Directions were very clear and it was a beautiful land. Lots of firewood available and felt very private. Not too far from St. Joseph, MI so nice to do a day trip there! Would camp here again!

Beautiful bit of property, and easier to get to than you’d think. Tom is a very communicative host az well. Looking to camp somewhat near the Warren Dunes, this is the spot. Just don’t forget some bug spray

Such a beautiful setting. Feels really remote. We loved being nestled amongst the apple trees and garden. The bathroom is far, inconvenient for younger children but we managed for our 1 night stay. The bbq/fire pit area (it’s the same) really needs maintenance. The grates are mangled and unusable. Glad we brought our own portable grill. The metal surrounding the pit is also falling apart. Hopefully they will fix that, because it made it hard to sit around the fire in a circle like we had wanted to. We came in July so lots of bugs and mosquitoes so beware. I’m glad I read the reviews about people not getting their bushel of apples, even though they paid for it. I messaged the host to ask if we could get some other kind of produce, and I was surprised this wasn’t offered to us knowing that apples would not be available. We were offered a bushel of blueberries, which I was very happy with, but then found out as we were leaving the property that they are not on property and we would have to drive an extra 30 minutes out of our way to go and get them. Luckily I was able to get a quick refund so I would recommend that if you are not coming in apple season do not pick the bushel of apples. But I do think an easy fix for the host is to give out whatever produce is in season like blueberries would be great for people who come in the summertime.

Only stayed one night and the location was easy to get to and was fairly level for setup. Wish I could have stayed longer but the heat during the time was just too much. 🥵 An extension cord would have easily allowed me to stay multiple days but unfortunately that's not a feature that was available at the time.

Cons
Could be some more site TLC:
- Firepit could be dug out and cleaned up
- If the white chairs are intended for use have them be closer to the site and not surrounded by tall grass.
- There were active mice in the wood pile, seal your underbelly.
- Little covered area for dry wood would have been convenient as well.
Overall my wife and I loved the spot just could use some upgrades if this is something they care to do long term but would still return during a cooler time of year.

Peaceful and beautiful
The site itself was a great location and very secluded, beautiful, and peaceful for the weekend (didnt stay during the week where the working farm may have been busy). The campsite grass was a bit overgrown and the bathroom was quite a bit further than advertised so it wasn't very convenient but thankful there was at least one nearby when absolutely needed.

Great Cold Camping Spot!

I took my dog in early March to squeeze in one last cold camping trip before the weather warmed up, and this place was perfect. We were totally alone, had tons of space to wander through all the cool (and creepy!) out-of-season trees, and got to fully relax in the peace and quiet. Definitely would go back!

We had a great time, made lots of memories. Definitely recommend bringing a canopy so you have some shade in the late afternoon. Tom was very nice and responsive. The area is private and beautiful. We walked around the orchard and got a rain storm in the night so we left early the next morning.

My wife and i loved this camp site! They had more then enough firewood available, a large fire pit, and a bathroom within walking distance. This was our first time using the app. We didn't have any interaction with the hosts or anybody else except for an initial welcome text. The apples werent in season because its july so we bought an apple basket for nothing lol. But we felt like calling it a tip for how nice of a hipocamp it is. Our only complaint would be the bees were a little bothersome a few times. I got stung 5 times the second day. There are hives near the site so theyre more prominent then usual. I quickly lewrned if you leave them be they leave you be for the most part but if you panic they do get aggressive. If you are allergic i honestly wouldnt recommend it.

Plenty of space to walk around and is very secluded. Lots of flowers right in camp- which comes with a few bees. Be mindful of kids and animals for that reason. Our pup got a sting, but was totally fine and learned a lesson lol. Unfortunately we went at a time of year where apples were not available. We weren’t told this before booking and had purchased an extra bucket which was disappointing. We could have googled that though. Overall lovely stay, we would gladly come again.

Owner was incredibly responsive. Location was pretty, and private however the property and space for the site needed maintenance (mowed, straightened up, etc.). Don't believe the space was worth the "premium" price VS other listings in the surrounding area.

A very special spot

Tom is a great host, very responsive to text messages when I needed him, though he gave us our space during our stay. This spot is a total gem, acres of orchards and farmland surrounding it, and it sits nestled back into his land beneath some large trees and between many rows of apple trees. We had an amazing time here, it was peaceful and secluded. We didn't see or hear anyone the two days that we were here. Be sure to check yourself for ticks after leaving. The nights were cool and peaceful aside from the sounds of coyotes, frogs and crickets. My only issue was that we didn't recieve our basket of produce, but not a huge deal!

This was a nice stay. About halfway through the night we heard a pack of coyotes howling close by, so just be aware! Alot of dog barking but at a distance. We left early in the morning due to being weary of the coyotes, if you have a sedan or trouble with traction park at the top of the hill, the grass gets wet and makes it difficult to get back up. Otherwise this was actually an amazing stay!! I would go back, just with more awareness for the coyotes!

We had a great time, beautiful views of the orchard and trees, very private and peaceful with lots of stars. The host was friendly when we met him in the morning. There were plenty of apples to pick and they have tasty donuts when the farm store is open. Hope to go back again soon!

Was a great spot in late August! Quiet spot and nice fire pit. Apples were plentiful and spotted some deer and other small wildlife. Not a far drive to Lake Michigan too.
