Learn more about this land: Mount Mancelona is a historic ski resort revival legend reborn nestled in the heart Northern Michigan Chain of Lakes outdoor recreation paradise that we are so excited to share after 3 years designing the experience.. From the moment you drive through the gate, you will experience magic, as the colorful fields on either side lead you to the main Lodge for check in and a historic tour lies inside to prepare folks to tap into fun!  Once you reach any of our sites, the views are meant just for you, as there is peace and tranquility of pure nature all around.  Our many camping, RV & Vintage 1953 Spartans Campers (just like families had in the 1950's-see photos) and private to very large group lodging options allow families and all to relax, enjoy nature, and create lifer first experiences and lasting memories. We have 22 unique sites throughout our 100 acres, some woodsy or with historic legends like "The Bootshack Man" Camp, some with incredible views and multiple habitat biomes, and some with electric service and unique creature comforts.. Enjoy star gazing after some of the most spectacular sunsets taken in from the top of the mountain accessible by 4x4 or our tours with the 69 Jeep top down to 65 rare Tucker Snowcat and sleigh, hike/bike/ride the hundreds of trails, take a dip or rope swing into the "Water Of The Gods" pond we are adding cordwood sauna to we call "The Yooper Spa" (boasting a 7.4 PH level!).   enjoy this wonderful oasis we call home!

Rustic tent camping
Plenty of rustic campsites available! The colors were absolutely amazing. Lots to do! Sam the hosts was awesome! Lots of history on the mountain along with the lodge, very cool to learn about! Highly recommend!
