Sleep to the sound of tree frogs, owls, distant coyotes, and maybe even wake to sounds of chickens in the morning. Walk thru a glitter of fire flies down a trail at night. My black labs Luke and Kiwi will likely visit your site to say hello and are super chill. 2 disc golf Black Hole Pro baskets on site to practice with. Only 30 minutes east of Grand Rapids, this property was established as a Youth Camp for 15 years is now a private event venue and campground, so it has nice amenities like FULL restrooms, a picnic shelter, and even a few small cabins that can be rented. Swimming beach is available in Lowell a few miles away. Fishing rivers and lakes are also in the area. (live bait in Saranac) Woods site and Open Area have a few different locations you can choose from. If woods or open shows booked already, please contact me. Additional fee of $20 per extra tent/camper that sleeps an adult. Picnic shelter is also available. Use my website to RSVP entire camp area for an event such as wedding.

Open Areas

Open area/rustic.

Nice property. Peaceful. Plenty of shade. There’s two black labs that are very friendly. Owner is very friendly. We stay in the general parking area/rustic. There’s water on site to fill your holding tank. It’s a win-win for me and my family. This is our second trip and we will be back next year.

our first night we had to sleep in our truck due to the cabin being locked and no answer from the host on the code, then we were in bed and noticed he was peeking in our windows, then he came by and accused us of stealing his dogs food and water dish, and after we left he accused us of not only trashing his place but also stealing from him again, after we went out of our way to nor only clean the cabin but take care of some dead trees and weeds.

This was by far the best place we have ever been to! The host gave us 2 free nights at a incredible place with showers, electric,disc golf trails swimming very close and for 20 bucks. We are dreading tomorrow when we leave

Great stay!

Really enjoyed our time on Stephen’s land. Sites were spacious and we loved all the walking paths and so did our dogs. Dogs off leash was a real bonus as well. Owners dogs Kiwi and Luke hung with us most of the time and got along great with our three Cattle dogs. But we felt guilty when feeding our dogs so they got fed as well, kiwi is very food motivated. We had rented Cabin M but didn’t use it except for electrical and covered picnic table outside. Would definitely recommend this place. Far enough off the beaten path but close enough to drive and get a pizza!!
