The Lot - Beach Camping
Loved this spot!! So relaxing & the night sky over the lake was gorgeous! Very friendly & helpful aswell Will be back

Beach #3 - Just Show Up Camping
Decent site but needs some upgrades
The positive: Nice spot to camp. Bonus that port-a-johns were provided on the beach side of the campground. Host was helpful. The negative: The site I reserved had been given away. Although I was provided with a decent enough alternate site in a grassy area, I would have preferred the beach site I reserved. The main bathroom and shower is in need of a good cleaning, in desperate need of organizing, and honestly should be updated.

The Lot - Beach Camping
Awesome Spot For Adults
This place is excellent for adults who want to get out and enjoy Lake Michigan. We originally had booked a site right on the lake, but a hard rain right before our arrival made the ground there pretty soggy so we moved across the road. All of the camping that's not on the lake side is surrounded by Federal forest land which makes this place feel very rustic and secluded while still having access to a real bathroom and shower which is a huge plus. There are rustic tent sites as well as cabin like accommodations so if you're looking to get away from the city but also want something a little more comfortable than a tent, you should definitely give them a call. I would 100% come back here again. The only downside is some traffic noise from the state highway, and the host (who is a seriously cool and down to earth guy) does use a bit of colorful language if you're sensitive about that sort of thing.

The site was quite unique and accommodating the host was very friendly and happy to help. I had an amazing time and I can’t wait to return for a longer visit
