Hidden Hollows Rustic Retreat
Cozy Michigan Getaway
The photos of this cabin don’t it justice. It’s really quite beautiful! It’s clean, cozy and quiet... It has all the necessary amenities and then some—glamping! The air conditioners did an ample job the place cool during the hot weekend. The property is well kept and the walking trails on their land were an easy escape into nature, leading back to a wedding venue & amphitheater. The property is wooded, but the surrounding properties are mainly farmland. No problem for us, we love the wide open space. The host, Collene was easy to contact, flexible, and kind.
One neat feature was the book that had been put together to showing the origins and history of the cabin itself. A really neat little historic gem!
It was about 45 minutes from Lake Huron beach front— we went to Delaware Park north of port Sanilac.
Kingston doesn’t have a grocery store beyond a dollar general- so bring food with you!

Hidden Hollows Rustic Retreat
Relaxing and recharging getaway
We had a wonderful time at the cabin. Collene had the fireplace going by the time we arrived. The cupboards were fully stocked with what we needed to cook breakfast and dinner. We made use of the great propane grill out back to cook burgers and the stove inside to cook some chili and breakfast.
We spent the majority of our time playing tabletop games and made use of both tables in the cabin.
Plenty of sleeping arrangements available with clean, comfortable bedding.

Hidden Hollows Rustic Retreat
We had a great stay at Hidden hollows cabin! The grounds are beautiful and the Rustic cabin is gorgeous and fully equipped for comfort and convenience.
We cooked our dinner using the gas grill on site and made S’mores on the bonfire later on in the evening. The kids spent the afternoon running in the grass out back and throwing water balloons we had filled with the hose provided at each other.
The inside of the cabin is very nicely done and the host has thought of everything! There is an oven/range and large toaster over. The cupboards and fridge were stocked with some basics/essentials including water, condiments, coffee and creamer (which was a hit with my sister) and hot chocolate and popcorn for the kids.
The cabin is very open and spacious. The bed and pillows were very comfortable and everyone had a good night’s sleep. The bathroom is modern and well stocked for your needs. We made use of the WiFi during our stay as well.
Overall we loved our stay at Hidden Hollows and plan to book again next summer! I would highly recommend this place for a weekend with friends and/or family or even just a night away with your favorite someone special.
