We had an amazing stay at Grace Orchards! It is beautiful, peaceful and well kept. Israel’s was extremely responsive with communication and so accommodating when we wanted to set up camp early. Everything was as described and check in/set up instructions were clear. Can’t wait to stay again!

I was car camping on the beautiful piece of land. I thoroughly enjoyed the peace and quiet, most relaxing evening I've had in a very long time. Loved sleeping under the clear dark sky and feeling safe. The hosts were very kind and friendly. I can't wait to come back for blueberry season with my trailer.

We really enjoyed staying at this site. It was private and beautiful with the orchards, trails, and a gorgeous sunrise. The host was very kind and welcoming. Although there was a compost toilet, there was also a Love's gas station less than 5 minutes away, which was convenient.
Thank you for having us! As two young women, we felt very safe and comfortable at this site, and would highly recommend it to other campers.

Great experience at Grace Orchard! Israel was quick to respond to questions and a gracious host. Had the whole yard to ourselves. Kids and I enjoyed grazing on blueberries when we weren’t relaxing by the campfire or exploring Lansing. Felt cozy and private despite close proximity to house and road. There is some road noise during the day but it quiets down at night. We didnt have any mosquitoes but came prepared with bug spray just in case. Got to see plenty of water loving big birds overhead (sandhill cranes, blue heron, bald eagle). Portable toilet and bags provided in a convenient wagon for easy toting from house to the campsite. Be prepared to walk your gear into the site but it is not far. Overall, a unique and fun camping experience!

We felt total privacy at this no frills, just-as-advertised campsite that is perfect for passing through and catching Gorgeous sunset views. Be advised that the hosts request you park in the driveway and the site itself is a short walk into the property. The potable water spigot is attached to the side of the house so it’s helpful to have a strong friend with you if you’re filling anything large (or you can use the little wagon at the driveway). We had a sweet time communing with the bunnies before our early bedtime. Might want to make use of the well established firepit or bring other repellant technology, the mosquitos in late June were vicious!

This was the perfect, quick and easy getaway for our family! We have four kids and two golden retrievers. The site was the perfect mix of private and spacious. We enjoyed yard games and relaxed by the campfire. The trails were fun to explore and the blueberries were a nice perk! I would recommend this camp to a friend!

We loved tent camping at Grace Orchard's land. The owners reached out before our arrival to make sure we knew where to go and what was expected of us. We were left alone and had plenty of space and privacy. We loved getting to pick a few blueberries before we departed.

I cannot recommend this place enough! It’s only a short drive from East Lansing and is a wonderful place to camp if you want to feel like you want to get away from everything without having to go too far. Lots of open space on this beautiful farm.

We camped at site 2, farthest from the road and enjoyed the solitude. Didn't get out to explore the land much but the dog and I enjoyed our peaceful spot watching and listening to the wildlife.

We had this campsite all to ourselves for a night. The sites were nicely maintained and surrounded by nature. We heard and saw all sorts of wildlife(plus some less wild chickens). Our hosts were away but they made sure we were taken care of anyways. Firewood was left out for us which was very appreciated.
There was some noise from next door neighbors during the day, so you can tell you're not completely isolated at times. It really didn't bother us because we were out and about anyways. Once we came back to camp we could only hear the nighttime bug and bird sounds.
Oh and we didn't use the composting toilet since we only stayed the night but having the option was appreciated!

Most frustrating experience ever.
#1 The direction where fantastic they got me right to where I needed to be. If getting lost is your idea of fun please avoid.
#2 I forced to drive up this cute little path to get to the camp site.
#3 The site I got was huge! I cant see how any reasonable person would enjoy a wide open site to put their tent, a few tents. And still have space to mingle.
#4 The wildlife was absurdly loud. All I heard all night was crickets. It was deafening. Couldn't hear the city or the road at all. Smh.
#5 Then to top it off. I realize I'm in a blue berry patch. I mean come on. They give you snacks too!
#6 Sarcasm aside. This was a great experience and I will be back 😁

Grace’s Orchard was perfect for the night I stayed! The camp site is a pretty spot with nice trees, blueberries, grass, privacy, and great for morning yoga. Grace and Israel had very clear and responsive communication.

Truly a perfect stay if you are passing through or in the area. We had the place all to ourselves and it was extremely quiet and relaxing. Beautiful piece of land to spend the night. Israel was such a great host and happily greeted us to show us our spot as well as gifted us some farm fresh eggs! Will definitely stay here again if we are in the area. This is what Hipcamp is all about!

Grace's Blueberry Orchard Camping
We had an awesome stay at the Blueberry Orchard. We were the only campers so were able to pick whichever site we wanted. We chose site 2 to be furthest away from the road. It was hot and humid when we arrived so I took the babies and dogs to explore the mowed trails through the property in search of shade and wildlife while my husband set up camp. We heard sandhill cranes, catbirds and a few other types of birds (as well as the chickens!) and enjoyed searching the rows for leftover berries (we camped after blueberry season). Our host was gracious, communicative and helpful via messages but let us have our privacy which was much appreciated. The nearby compost toilet was a major plus. Once we got camp set up we loaded everyone in our vehicle and headed to Spooky Hollow State Park which was an easy drive less than 20 minutes east and enjoyed the dog beach at Lake Ovid. We picked up some firewood near the state park on our way back and hit up the truck stop for more water before returning to cook dinner and sleep beneath the stars. It was an absolutely beautiful night and a wonderful experience. We highly recommend camping on Israel's land and very much appreciate the family sharing their picturesque haven with us!

Our hosts here were perfect - helpful and accessible if needed. The site itself has three campsites amidst a working blueberry farm. We'd love to come back in season. It was really so peaceful and enjoyable.

The place is well taken care of, israel is very attentive, we had access to all camp sites, it's a great spot for a quick weekend getaway, there is a state park about 20 minutes with a dog beach, a Love gas station about 5 minutes from the property, since it's a truck stop it has showers available if you need them, Israel has a small tent with a seat and a bag for toilet just in case, the whole property is like a small trail you can walk your dog in, just remember to clean after your dog and be careful with thorns everywhere around the blueberry trees, Israel mentioned we were welcome to fresh eggs from his chickens, we didn't got any, but the fact that their are available is awesome, he also let me use his firewood the first night I was there while I bought mine for the rest of my weekend. I do recommend this place and I will comeback once blueberries are available, the place must look even better.

Very nice property. The sites are in the middle of the orchard. Well set-up check-in area in the barn. Site map provided to show the layout of the property, Each site has signage, so you are sure you are in the right spot .Each site has its own potty. Great communication before and after the stay.

We had a great stay at Grace’s Blueberry. The host was very friendly and gave us a tour of the area (favorite parts were the chicken coop and bees) when we arrived and even gave us recommendations in activities and let us borrow some discs for disc golf. The campsites were far away enough where we couldn’t really see other people unless they were walking by to get water or use the bathroom. We would recommend staying here and hope to come again. Thanks.

Amazing quiet place. Lovely people. Helpful, informative and very caring. Clean, neat peaceful property with great privacy. We picked one of the campsite on booking and since they didn’t have anyone else that night they let us pick whichever we want at the spot. And added we are welcome to explore around eat their berries and use whatever we need. Night was cold they kindly offered blankets if we need. Would defiantly love to stop by again! We are very thankful to have a chance to stay here!

We loved our stay at the Orchard! Israel was very helpful and showed us around the property and made sure we had what we needed for our stay. Get ready to hear the chickens every morning! The site was very nicely laid out and the composting toilet was a nice earth friendly touch (very easy to use). The blueberries were no longer in season, but the orchard rows provide a beautiful scene and provided privacy from the other sites. My only complaint was some occasional road noise, but this was far less than you get at an average campground. The blueberry farm has a country feel but is also close to the quaint town of Dewitt. We enjoyed hanging in our hammock at riverside park and getting ice cream at iscream. Lots of great places to Kayak in the area, not bringing ours is our only regret.

Israel was very accomodating. Property is nice. A bit of road noise but not too bad. Sites feel secluded and if you time it right you can get fresh blueberries.

Grace Orchard was a peaceful, quiet place, full of nature's surprises. The property had lots of bunnies, birds, and wildflowers. In addition to the blueberries and blackberries, we found fragrant apple trees that provided cool shade during our walks and adventures on the land. This property is great for kids; full of adventurous possibilities and yet, very safe.
A few additional thoughts: Grace Orchard was quiet, very zen, very clean, easily accessible, and overall, a very good experience for our family.
