Whiting Park stands out as a unique destination on Lake Charlevoix, nestled in Eveline Township between Boyne City and Ironton. Spanning approximately 240 acres of stunning forest, this park offers over four miles of scenic hiking trails, making it a haven for outdoor enthusiasts and nature lovers alike. The campground features 54 well-equipped campsites, each with electric service of up to 50 amps, including ten accessible sites for those with disabilities. These campsites are conveniently located within half a mile of the beautiful Lake Charlevoix beach, where visitors can enjoy swimming and sunbathing. For added convenience, the park provides a modern shower building and a pump-out station with potable water. In addition to camping, Whiting Park offers versatile rental facilities perfect for various events. The spacious "Green Building," a large pole barn with a kitchen and restrooms, accommodates up to 250 guests. For smaller gatherings, a charming 1940s log cabin is available, seating up to 60 people, along with two secluded pavilions equipped with picnic tables and electricity.
