Melissa was a fantastic host and the property is beautiful. We felt like we had a great sense of privacy while also being conveniently located to town and the beach. Would definitely recommend and will look forward to returning in the future!

We had a blast playing with the basketball net, volleyball court and swings. The shower/kitchen situation is perfect for a group- hot water is amazing. We cooked over the fire, but did need to use more wood than expected because the fire pit is very deep. The solar lights lasted almost all night to play cards, despite it being overcast/rainy the previous day. Wish we could have stayed longer to pick flowers!

Very cute sites, the hammock was super comfy, and had everything i needed. Only issue was the road noise, it was less frequent overnight but did awaken to some trucks rolling by. The aesthetics were super cute though! And host was very communicative and responsive!

Loved camping here! Good instructions to get to the correct campsite, with a personalized welcome sign when I got there. The host welcomed me to meet their animals which was so much fun (and I got to feed the Alpacas!!). Loved the oldschool bus (Hope they turn it into a unique campsite) and the flowers. I was on a solo trip but my family would have loved it as well - places for people to sit together, swing set, basketball hoop with multiple basketballs, and other stuff to do. Definitely recommend.

This place is absolutely gorgeous and the perfect get away for our family. The beds were comfortable, the bathroom was clean and the campsite was pristine. My kids loved seeing the alpacas and visiting the farm store where they looked at trinkets, stuffed animals and socks made from alpaca fiber.

Melissa has clearly been very thoughtful in how the sites are laid out and what amenities are available. Even though you are in the wilderness enjoying the great outdoors, your bungalow still had the convenience of having electricity for plugging in our phones or heating up our baby's bottle, it had additional seating and furniture, it had lighting and a heater and fan. Outside of the bungalow we had running water for washing our hands, a private shower/toilet, and a covered table area which was such a great touch when it rained the first evening. The farm animals, flowers, and fun activities were also great. I would recommend Melissa's farm and campground to anyone looking to get away but still have basic convenience and great outdoor amenities.

Glamping getaway w/camp kitchenette
Campground had the whimsical charm it and amenities provided were nice. Hosts greeted us with a smile and were friendly. Tent was set up for 8 people with air mattresses and bedding which was excellent. The reason I would only “maybe” recommend this place is that we were disappointed by how close the other campsites were in proximity to ours. Felt very much like a state campground which is what we try to avoid. If that’s what you’re looking for at a higher cost then this is your place. Could hear traffic all night and babies crying all morning from the family camping just 30 feet away. My older kids didn’t really have anywhere to explore as this campground is nestled in a neighborhood. There were paths that just circled around taking 4-5 minutes to stroll the whole thing. We’ve stayed at hip camps in other areas and usually have so much more privacy and experience .
Also we didn’t have a table big enough to accommodate 8 people. Only a Small round table that sat four was onsite . It made preparing food difficult. There is a countertop space attached to the front of the bathroom area but after moving the small table over to the counter it still was challenging. A picnic table would have been a better idea. Will not be going back

We loved tent camping here! It was SO cute, super accessible, and felt very safe for three girls camping alone. It’s an easy drive to New Buffalo and the water! Would so recommend — especially for a girls’ weekend!!

Host Melissa was very prompt answering questions during the booking process. Usually within 5 minutes. On arrival we were greeted with a custom welcome sign and the glamp site was clean and welcoming. Blooming Bus Farms is a slice of amazing wilderness/farm in the middle of town. Very unique and fun! It was my wife’s first camping experience of any kind, so I was worried she would be totally out of her element. Blooming Farms was just the right amount of camping to hopefully build on. Would definitely recommend to friends and family looking for a cool experience.

My son and I stayed at Blooming Bus Farms for two days and had such a peaceful and memorable glamping experience. The setting feels like you’re deep in the woods, but with all the comforts close by.
Melissa was a great host—quick to respond and super thoughtful. We loved the warm shower, fresh towels, flowers at the campsite, and even a personalized welcome sign!
The alpacas, the peaceful night scenery, and the mission of supporting at-risk youth added an extra layer of meaning to our stay.
Check-in and check-out were a breeze. Thank you, Melissa, for such a heartwarming experience!

Cozy warm bungalow in the woods!
Awesome experience. Very clean and excellent set up. The alpacas were very interesting to hang out with. At night time a lot of the property is lit up which makes for a fun time. Would highly recommend. Fyi Lehman’s orchard is very nearby and if travelling June 6th on they have fruit picking.

The place was pretty cool and nice. The amenities mentioned were exactly same and perfect. We booked a campsite with kitchen and restroom. The host was very friendly and responsive. The night stay was a great experience. We would love to visit again soon.

Absolutely amazing every time! My home away from home! I am always caught between wanting to tell everyone I know about this place and wanting to keep it just for myself. They truly do think of everything! Just bring yourself, food & clothes and you’re pretty much good to go!! AMAZING atmosphere. It gets better every time I come!

We had the best family weekend thanks to Melissa, and this great stay! She was so caring and kind, I had some fear of being late when arriving because we were heading up after work and she offered to light our tikis for us, we also were welcomed by beautiful flowers and a cute welcome sign.

Our campsite was really cute. The hammock was comfy and there was plenty of space. There were campers on site over, but they were far enough that we still felt alone. The night was quiet with no noise in the area. Alpacas in the morning — so cute!!

Really comfortable beds, great large tent space, close to restaurants and grocery and a great winery! There is sand at the site.
Met up with friends who rented the bunk House. Our shower was nicer, but their bunk had heat and power.
The bathroom situation is not a true composting toilet so get ready to be closer than normal to your deposits. This is a con for me, as I was expecting a more eco composting and green experience.
With that said, lovely shade and waterproofing provided by extra bell tent top/shelter, lanterns, lights, table and chairs but I did wish I have brought my kitchen-camp-table.
Alpacas as magically cute ~ we fed them pine trees & saw the owner walking them on leashes.

Outstanding glamp camp! The details of providing comforts of camping was 5 Star! We are tent/hammock campers but for one night wanted to arrive and just enjoy time relaxing. This was spot on to arrive and enjoy camping. The night lighting was so fun. We found a gem at the speakeasy and comedy club as well.
