Birch Top ~ Rustic Cabin
A lovely, secluded hilltop location with beautiful trees and an abundance of peace and quiet. Was exactly as described and suited my needs just right.

Cozy, quiet, and simple. Loved my little stay. Directions were clear. Felt far away from everything but still just a short drive from town.

Solid MQT Basecamp
Hard to find at night, checkin before dusk and enjoy the scenery (you won’t regret it). The place is definitely secluded but still has comfortable beds, firepit/lots of wood, and a cabin that stayed cool on a hot day. Kitchen was well stocked with cast iron. Didn’t get to explore the property as much as I’d have liked, but heard a wide range of animals in the near vicinity. Book your stay, bring your powerstation, setup basecamp. Hill isn’t bad, my overloaded van did just fine. Would book again.

Comfortable Rest Between Adventures
Sean's Rustic Cabin was a lovely place to stay near the wonderful beaches of the Marquette area. The property has everything you might need for enjoying some time in the forest; a shelter for inclement weather, a comfortable bed, a wood stove, toilet, table, and fire pit. The cabin is a great place to base from and chill after touristing in Marquette. The small deck and fire pit are perfect spots to enjoy the natural sounds surrounding this hill top plot. I definitely suggest you stay here if you're looking to enjoy nature but also have a comfortable bed and place to rest between adventures!

Over Priced
Overall it was just a place to rest our heads, but is was closed up and smelly, mouse droppings in the area going down to beds. Everything in there is for hunting camp that the owners must do there. Nothing there is for the renters staying there. Lanterns were not charged, no use of stove for cooking, or propane space heater for heat. I am guessing it was ok to use wood stove, but not sure I trust the rusted exuast pipe. Suprised that anyone would be allowed to be used as nothing else was (trust that people know how to use a wood stove,) to include sink drain to a bucket that I guess I was not capable of dumping on my own. Serious amount of cobwebs and spiders in out house that definitely were not knocked down prior to our arrival, making it not worth using. A email late in day of arrival saying driveway washed out from storms, if no 4 wheel then park and walk in. Previous stays said the driveway was horrible, so no repairs have been attempted. Poor Signage for the driveway, so we missed it and had to turn back around and finally saw it. We picked this place for a chance to not camp in our tent and try something new and different, but for the price there should have been more. If it was half the price then no big deal, but we can set up a tent, have clean bathroom and shower at a campsite for $30.00 less. For $20.00 more and we could have a had a low end hotel room. Very disappointed 😞

Wonderful little site to rest our bones after a long day of hiking. Close enough to Marquette to make an evening visit for some pizza, too!
