Solstice Weekend Gathering.
Sooo great to spend a weekend here with my little family, we deeply appreciate the welcoming environment, gorgeous land and the abundance of creative energy at Art Farm! 10/10 recommend, you can feel the love beaming off this little fennville sanctuary, will be back soon!!

This is a lovely property, feels like the end of the earth but so close to Douglas and Saugatuck! Very hospitable and gracious host. Loved the sculpture tucked into hidden little spots, and the little islands feel magical. I parked my truck with rooftop tent towards the back of the property facing a peaceful meadow and felt like I was totally alone, a nice change from the state park campground vibe. I’d definitely return, and recommend to anybody looking for a quiet cute place to touch down, just a few minutes from town or that amazing beach at the Saugatuck Sand Dunes State Park. Indoor toilet is nice, the shower is a cold-only hose setup so plan accordingly.

We loved our time on the Art Farm! Christine was a pleasure to chat with, and our kiddo loved exploring the property, sleeping in the yurt, and making art in the barn. Short drive to tasty food and local attractions for when you want a change of pace. Highly recommend, would stay again!

I really enjoyed tenting at the Art Farm, I felt the calmness, bird chirping in the morning and the privacy was perfect. It wasn’t crowded, and the grass was mowed on the walking paths. Definitely would stay here again!

We loved camping here and will definitely be back! Christine was very welcoming and the place was unlike any place we’ve ever been before. It was so fun to explore and there was so much to look at. She provided everything you could possibly need to have a night by the fire, to fish, to cook dinner, to keep the kiddos occupied. 10/10!

Our stay at Art Farm was nothing short of magical, you can reallu feel the love here. Christine hosted our gathering of multiple families with little kids, she thoroughly exceeded our expectations and the hospitality was phenomenal—we felt right at home. Dinner cooked over the fire on the island while the kids rode around in the canoe at sunset. Breakfast in the sun with a sound bath and yoga., hot tea with mint from the garden. We even got to watch some traditional djembe drums be created by members of this incredible community! We'll be back, 10/10 recommend.

We loved staying at the art farm! Nice amenities for a tent campsite (outlets, flushing toilet, sink for dishes, communal camp furniture to be rearranged). Very private but close to Saugatuck/Douglas. The atmosphere was so unique and whimsical which definitely made this experience special. We would come back!

Christine's property is beautiful and unique (in a good way). Very secluded and an interesting place to stay - lots of paths, lakes, structures, and art to explore. While it feels remote and secluded, it is only a few minute drive from downtown Douglas and Saugatuck. Christine herself is welcoming, friendly, and accomodating. Highly recommended for a unique camping experience!

The camping site was private and had a nice view of a pond and meadow where deer gathered at dusk and dawn. The property is kept fairly wild and has art sculptures scattered around. There's a flushing toilet for campers to use in the art barn. Interesting place and close to town, the highway and the beach

This place has a ton of potential and is very private but we did feel like some of the pictures were very misleading. The property is not as tidy as some of the photos make it seem. A lot of random things thrown about (chairs, paddle boat, tools, etc). There was a kitchen space advertised but honestly it was dark and I'd rather used my own stuff. The potable water was a hose outside (which is listed) but the only sinks were already full of things (clean). I felt like I would need to do some picking up to really use the kitchen. Shower floor could've used a basic quick scrub too. I've camped in primitive sites so I am comfortable with dirt, bugs, and weeds, and hiking my equipment in. I also paid 3 or more times less for those experiences. For the price we paid I guess we expected more than just a place to sleep.

What an amazing experience! The people that live on the farm are incredibly kind and generous. I camped here alone and felt completely safe. It’s a bit rustic, but has everything you need. Quiet and relaxed atmosphere. 10 min drive to downtown Douglas and Saugatuck. I definitely would stay here again!

Fire Fly Cove
Christine's layout is spectacular. It was perfect for my son's first camping trip. The site was quiet, calm, and peaceful the entire stay. The land had paths for my son and I to explore together. The barn was really handy for using the restroom and having a sink to wash with. Christine was super nice and accommodating. The artwork added creative flair to the Beautiful landscape. We will definitely be back again!

Not set up for it to be referred to as “glamping.” There was no additional netting with the curtain as advertised in some of the pictures. The grounds of the property were pretty, and it seemed like a decent setup if you chose the option to tent or RV, but as for the “glamping” site that was provided, I would say it is not worth your money. I wish we brought our tent to sleep in because what was provided was poor quality.

Farm Stay Campsite
My family and I all loved camping at the Fennville Art Farm. Christine was a responsive, flexible and friendly host. The space was beautiful, the ponds, bridges and the fields of flowers were amazing, as was the art that we encountered while exploring the land.
We will definitely be coming back. Thanks Christine!

The land was great! Christine was super accommodating and very helpful. There were several sites and plenty of space between to have your own room. The central barn was great, providing some basic kitchen space and a bathroom/shower. We would definitely come back!

The host was very nice and the campsite we chose was pretty private which we liked. It was a bit difficult to get our camping gear back to the site we chose because we didn’t think we could drive our car back there because of a sign but thankfully we messaged Christine and she said we could take our car back there to pack up! Overall it was a pretty accommodating campsite. Very laid back. The only thing I would have changed was how overgrown everything was. I appreciate the idea of keeping it natural to Michigans agriculture, but it was just messy and not really like the pictures shown. But if that doesn’t bother you then definitely a nice private campsite with cool art and amazing stargazing!

This was a peaceful and beautiful place to camp for the weekend! We avoided campground crowds and thoroughly enjoyed the Art Farm. Having a place to fill up water jugs and use a real toilet was great!

The Art Farm has a great layout and some beautiful scenery, but would benefit from some general upkeep. The direct path to the bed was poorly mowed and had long weeds to get through. I would say that the photos certainly set an expectation that just was not met. The majority of the property seen in the photos was unaccesible because of weeds/long grass. For the price paid, we were expecting to feel just a bit more cozy in the space provided. We certainly woke up to some beautiful scenery, and even got to see a rainbow 🌈, but we left shortly afterwards. This place is brimming with wildlife and potential!

Lovely comfy marshmallow bed on beautiful land. Christine was very kind and it was a fun place to stay the night. Definitely on the rustic side (just a cozy bed on a platform overlooking a pond, exposed to the elements but you have mosquito netting), so it's great that there is a communal barn for power, water, coffee and a toilet. We got very lucky with the weather and it was just perfect. The stars were amazing and the firepit was great.
