7 camp sites, 1 RV site, 3 Yurts, a Bohemian camp site, and new this year a TeePee Site and Hammock site. For a total of 13 options. 2Chicks And A Farm is a small working farm on 20 acres, owned and run by Julie and Theresa Graham. We are 13 minutes from South Haven and the lake. 30 minutes from the city of Kalamazoo. And just under an hour from Grand Rapids. About half of the 20 acres is wooded, which is where three of our camp sites, Hammock Haven are located. Each site has a fire ring & picnic table. One site, capable of taking a mid sized RV / Fifth Wheel, is located on the front of the property with easy access from the road. It backs up to some trails and brush/wood area and has a corn field to the right. So, even though on the front on the property, you have a feeling of privacy. It too has a fire pit and picnic table. Three camp sites are located in the pasture. One is at the bottom of the pasture (1) and quite open. It can accommodate larger groups with multiple tents. A more secluded site (5) is half open and half in light woods., and is located at the top of the pasture. The others are in the middle of the pasture, 2 for sun lovers and 3 for those who prefer more shade. For those who prefer more seclusion, we have cleared three sites in the woods. All sites have a fire ring, or metal fire pit, and picnic table. Some have fire wood boxes (we’re working on making a box for all sites). We have an outdoor propane shower that provides both hot and cold water. This is free. A coffee bar is on the back deck. Coffee is brewing around 7am. We also provide hot water, teas, hot chocolate and cider. Feeling a little peckish before breakfast, or after dinner? Help yourself to a snack. This is all free, though small donations are welcomed. Our goats, poultry, pigs, rabbits, cats and dogs and produce take up about an acre and a half. Then the rest is open space. You are welcome to collect eggs for breakfast and fresh produce from our gardens (additional fee). Use the BBQ or smoker. And even join in on farm chores if you are so inclined. Please try to plan to check-in by 9pm. Exceptions can be made. There are locally mandated quiet hours (10-7 Sun through Thur, and 11-7 Fri and Sat). Hanging out by a fire and chatting is fine.

Koda’s Corner - RV/5th Wheel/Camper

This site in on the front of the property with direct access from the road. It can accommodate any size RV / Fifth Wheel / Camper. It is named after Koda whose human Mom brought her here as part of a final road trip together before having to send Koda over the Rainbow Bridge due to cancer and some other medical issues. They were only here a couple of days, but left a lasting impression. This site is where they stayed. It backs up to a brush / lightly wooded area, has my land to the left and a corn field to the right. It comes with a fire pit and wooden picnic table. There is NOT water or electricity hook-ups at this time. However, there is water and electric in the Poly Tunnel close by. We also have a 7500 Watt gas generator that could be rented. Plenty of space to to spread out, add a tent or two and relax.

Site - 6 - Middle of the Woods

Site 6 is on a bluff about 1/4 of a mile into the woods. If you lie nature, this is a prime spot for you. It's big enough to accommodate at least two tents / campers. You should be able to see part of the pond from here too,

Site 4 is one of three sites we created in the woods. This site is dedicated to Theresa’s late father, Mike. It looks over the pond and is closest to the compost toilet set-up in our deer blind. it's a large area that can accommodate multiple tents / vehicles. This is another camper favorite site.

Site 7 is in the middle of our woods. You can see Site 5 across the stream bed. A medium sized site that can accommodate two tents / campers easily. This site is the most remote. You do have closest access to the Compost Potty located in Site 5. Lovely site with some cleared land, but surrounded by trees.

Sam’s Place Yurt

Like Lucy, Sam’s place is a 16.5 foot round fully waterproof (if you keep it zip up when it rains). She is situated at the quietest end of the grounds. Maybe a site for a little romance 😊😉. She has her own wood burning stove / heater. A small covered outside force ring. A wooded. Picnic table, a couple of plush camping chairs and camping beds for up to five. An additional small tent can be erected on the site (your own). You need to bring pillows and bedding.

Welcome to glamming at 2Chicks And A Farm. This 16.5 ft Yurt has two luxury campy beds and chairs. A wood burning stove for both heat and cooking. A fire ring outside, with a view of woods and pasture. We have a porta Pottie and camp shower on site. You just need to bring bedding (pillows, sleeping bag, or other bedding) and towels. An additional small tent can be erected at the site (you would provide). 5 people max. Unless we get real creative with beds 🙂. However, there is room for an additional tent for a nominal fee.

Daisy comes furnished with two luxury camp beds and bedding. Two camp chairs, a wooden picnic table and a fire ring. An additional bed can be added. She’s located on the front part of our property, so you may be able to see a street / other houses at times during the year. She’s in a decent area by herself with both a big shade tree and open ground to take in the sun or play some games. To one side of this site there is an RV / Camping site. An additional tent, Dandelion, with the same set up, can be added for $50.

Teepee Tranquility

This site is set back in the upper woods of our property, bordering a neighbour's field that grows corn and soy. It has great ways of our woods. There are two Teepee's.. A wooden picnic table, fire ring and Tiki Torch. Each Teepee sleeps 2-4 depending on your bedding choice. We can provide up to three cots per Teepee. It’s accessible either by driving (part on a dirt path), or we can transport you and your luggage in our UTV. This may be my favourite site.

This was my favorite hip camp experience yet! The animals at 2Chicks and A Farm are so friendly. Breakfast was delicious. The tent site was well kept and perfect for our group.

We loved our stay! They have really thought of everything! Even offering coffee and snacks first thing in the morning. Such a cute little farm and loved our spacious area and yurt. Plus so close to downtown south haven/beaches. Perfect little getaway

This was a wonderful overnight trip with my three year old for his first camp-out. Julie and Madison provided excellent hospitality and communication. The animals were a big hit and we got to hold, feed and play with several of them. The grounds were well kept and the yurt was spacious and clean. Some really nice touches with the welcome basket, firewood on site and comfy camp chairs. And I can’t express how much I appreciate the cleanliness of the outhouse—especially with a toddler!

S'more Than We Hoped For!

We had such a special two-night stay at Lucy the Yurt! It was our son’s first-ever camping adventure, so we opted for the comfort of a yurt, and it couldn’t have been more perfect for our little crew (husband, 4-year-old, doggo, and me). The grounds were beautiful and full of personality, from the spacious yurt and climbing wall to the welcoming farm animals and ultra-friendly cats. Our son was in heaven. He made multiple “bucket list” memories, including an unforgettable ride on a four-wheeler (with goat Cupid riding shotgun) to pick up firewood, thanks to the amazing Teresa. Although the weather turned unseasonably chilly, Julie came through with a propane heater and CO2 monitor, which kept us warm and cozy. The yurt was spotless, and we loved the thoughtful welcome basket stocked with s’mores fixings, Jiffy Pop, and sparklers. The kind of touches that turn a trip into a memory. We also appreciated the easy access to South Haven, nearby nature trails (Camp Pilgrim and Van Buren Woods), and the extremely chatty and hysterical farm animals. The chickens, goats, and pigs had us laughing, and the bullfrogs serenaded us each night. A quick note for light sleepers: there is a rooster and a few hardworking farm pups who take their job seriously, but it’s all part of the charm. Nothing disrupted our stay. We’d absolutely come back again!

We absolutely loved staying in Lucy! My kids and I had the best time, and the experience by far exceeded our expectations. Julie made us feel so welcome and made sure we had everything we needed. My dog even enjoyed meeting all the other guests. We enjoyed the farm tour and visits by the cats. The food was amazing and the shower felt like I was at a home away from home. I can’t thank them enough!

The property itself is nice but it’s next to a busy road so you’ll hear traffic all night. They stuck me next to a loud, old couple in an RV. There’s a lot of neighbors and two of them got into a screaming match at night. You’re close to the yurts so don’t expect quiet. Julie offered to move my tent when she saw how disappointed I was but I was tired after a long drive and there wasn't anywhere she could move me that wasn’t just as disappointing. I just wanted to make camp and go to bed. I paid for 2 nights but left early. I wanted quiet and seclusion. Julie was really nice about it and offered a refund but then her husband said no and was rude about it. It’s a nice spot if that’s what you’re looking for but I was really disappointed.

Teepee Tranquility
We had such a lovely time campping at Julie's place! The teepees were cozy and the cots were an amazing addition that saved our old lady backs. My wife and I felt so welcomed and comfortable, as did the rest of the group we traveled with. The campground was clean, the animals were cute, the people were nice. What more can you ask for?

We are enjoyed camping at Julie’s! It was our kids’ first camping trip, and we loved seeing all the animals so close to our site. Definitely a great destination for animal lovers! Especially if you’re a cat person :)

Sam’s Place Yurt
Spending a weekend at Julie and Theresa's farm was amazing. The major draw for me was the animals, and there's a plethora. Julie was very responsive via text, and their helper Luke was attentive. We stayed at Sam's Yurt, which was nice and spacious, offering some privacy due to it being a bit more secluded than a couple of the other sites. Overall this was a great experience and is highly recommended for animal lovers!

This was a perfect overnight trip and can't wait to come back! The tent, camp beds, and chairs were super comfortable. But Julie really creates something special with her extra touches. We added on the extras- dinner and breakfast. I enjoy cooking over a fire but a three course meal? Delicious!! Dessert was perfect with hot little fruit pies with ice cream! The animals were fun. We made bestie with a little calico kitty who spent the evening and morning with us. I got to visit the baby goats, and the chickens made the rounds chaperoned by their rooster. And when our car battery was dead, we even got a jump. Full service. Everyone we met was friendlyand welcoming. Yay!

Sam’s Place Yurt
I highly recommend this site. Julie the host does an amazing job of this of all the details. This was a pretty unique place to camp. Lots of friendly little visitors came to great us throughout the trip. (Cats and chickens) The yurt was great. Very clean and well kept site. Definitely take advantage of the extras available here. I for sure am planning to make a return trip.

We loved camping here! Julie was a perfect host — made sure we had what we needed without hovering. The farm was beautiful and the cats were so friendly! Definitely make sure to order breakfast, it was incredible!

We loved the farm camp experience. My son had a great time. All the animals were so fun! The camp sites were spaced out nicely. Port-a-potty was clean. We ordered a charcuterie board which was perfect on the night we came in. The yurt was tight with 4 people and the pellet stove but we made it work. 3 adults and a 10 yrs old. My son enjoyed the farm tour and the ATV rides. We were pretty cold overnight in our yurt when it got down to 30 degrees but still had a great time.

Very lovely and lush farm run by a sweet gal and all her neighborhood friends. If you’re looking for fancy glamping, it’s not that. But it’s nice to not have to set up the tent, and Julie provides fire starters, chairs, a table, cots and welcome goodies. There’s lots of add ons possible, beautiful grounds to walk in and a million cats to keep you company. We will certainly return when it’s a bit warmer. If you’re hoping for hours of sleep in, be aware there is a loud rooster every morning!

We loved our stay at the farm! Julie was a great host and showed us all of the animals and even gave us a welcome basket with smores and fire materials. The cats are very cuddly and love attention so be prepared for a lot of pets. Highly recommend choosing the breakfast option as it was so delicious

Koda’s Corner - RV/5th Wheel/Camper
We stopped here on short notice with a Class C RV and were welcomed with open arms. Julie is a friendly and accommodating host. If we are ever in the area in the future, we would love to stay here again. It is on a road but it's quiet enough to be super peaceful. I loved meeting all the animals and incredibly friendly cats. Would absolutely recommend.

Very cute place! Julie was very kind! Met her when I arrived and she gave me a short tour of the farm, then got a welcome basket! I would definitely recommend staying here! I also added on salsa and it was very delicious!

10/10 camping experience! I can't say enough great things about this place or Julie. She was very attentive, but also not intrusive. I felt like I was right at home. We will definitely be coming back soon! We opted to purchase a few extras as well and I would HIGHLY recommend getting breakfast, it was DELICIOUS!!

2 Chicks and A Farm was a great place to camp with my family! We had a wonderful time and felt welcome and safe the entire time. The amazing farm animals and wandering felines were a major bonus! Julie greeted us and made sure we had everything we needed for a smooth experience. I would definitely recommend and will return the next chance I get!!
