Earn this patch by being the first to spend a night outside at a new Hipcamp.

Located on a working livestock farm adjacent to 450 acres of Mattapoisett Land Trust forest, this unique campsite offers direct access to a network of scenic trails that wind through the woods to the shores of Pine Island Pond and Buzzards Bay. Along the way, you'll discover a blueberry patch, and the trails connect to the Mattapoisett Bike Path, leading into historic Fairhaven. Set up camp on the farm, with your choice of trail-access entry points and nearby parking, and enjoy the prevailing southwest breezes each afternoon that make Buzzards Bay a popular destination for windsurfing, sailing, boating, and fishing from May through October. Lend a hand around the farm if you'd like to volunteer or learn more about sustainable farming practices. Farmer Mike is happy to share his knowledge of the area, recommend fun local attractions, or simply let you come and go at your leisure. Wyandotte Farm in Mattapoisett is a place to relax, reconnect, and enjoy the peaceful countryside.
