The Mossy Glen Bell Tent is one of three beautiful campsites here. The area is gorgeous and magical, with fairy-lighted paths leading to the campsites. This was "glamping" in the sense that we did not have to set up our own tent and Andrea set up a double-size cot, an air mattress, and a big bean bag with blankets, pillows, and sleeping bags. I am glad we also brought our own sleeping bags and pillows to add to the bedding options and make it even more comfy.
The bell tent itself is like a big army-style tent with a zippered door. We were a group of 3 and had plenty of space. The first night it rained a lot, but we stayed cozy and dry in the tent. The floor is not very even (it's set up on pallets to keep the floor dry and elevated) so be careful walking around.
The campsite also featured a covered kitchen structure with counter space and a place to lock up food and trash. Andrea provided a cast iron pan, 3 tin cups, a cutting board, and a glass growler full of water, which she refilled once for us. Bring your own water too. Attached to the kitchen structure is a composting toilet (for poop only, you should pee in the woods). There's also a table, 2 plastic chairs, a bench, and a fire pit.
Andrea provided one bin of firewood for free, and we bought a second bin for $8. This kept our fire going all day! There is a huge expanse of beautiful, magical forest right behind this site that we explored for hours. This place is amazing; highly recommend! Andrea is a great host!
