Our 2 acre property and home is located in the center of the small town of Leverett. We have a private camping spot located down by the stream, and a van site which can accommodate cars, small RVs, and vans as well as tent camping. We are near a paved road with moderate traffic, but the sites are secluded. The property abuts hundreds of acres of woods and there are a number of great walking trails nearby. A half-mile walk behind the house takes you through the forest to an outlook on Leverett Pond. The Peace Pagoda is just a few miles up the road. Other nearby destinations include Cushman Market and Cafe, the Montague Bookmill, and Mt. Toby waterfall, caves, and lookout tower. Leverett Pond has a public boat launch nearby. The area has excellent bike riding as well. We enjoy all these activities and are happy to share further destinations, routes, and suggestions!

Camp by the Stream

Great site right by a little stream and short walk to the lake. Host was great with communication and made everything easy. Plenty of firewood and site was in great condition.

Camp by the Stream

Lovely spot!

This site was lovely and still felt private even though the house and road were in view. There was plenty of firewood provided and the connecting trails were convenient and fun to hike. Definitely recommend!

Beautiful!

What a great spot! The walk is very short (2 minutes or less) from car to site, but it's tucked away just the right amount to feel secluded. We were there in the fall, and it was beautiful. Really enjoy the 10 minutes walk to Leverett Pond. Everything was smooth and easy. Would go back next time we're staying in the area! Thank you!

Would come again!

The site was accessible, but also felt secluded and private. We loved listening to the creek at night and even heard an owl above our tent. Plenty of wood supply and we appreciated the convenience of potable water and a charging port. A little buggy by the water, but nothing a little fire smoke couldn't take care of. We felt safe at this location and loved its closeness to Amherst and the surrounding farmlands. Highly recommend for folks looking to explore western Mass. Hosts were responsive and considerate. Camp by the Stream

This was a beautiful spot right next to the stream that was perfect to stay the night if you want to be near the Amherst area! Eric was very kind and although it was raining, it was beautiful and we loved the sound of the stream. I highly recommend!

Nice space for camping plus a light walk along the creek. We had a great time. Very convenient and close to town.
