We arrived about an hour after sunset, sites are across the field with solar lights to mark sites. The road loops the entirety, easy to get to and easy to drive out of. Road is well kept. Communal area has play castle, a ride in car, two picnic tables, a diving board into the swimming hole, and some water toys strewn about. Sandy and gravely, good spots to setup even a large tent - our 10 person went up without a problem. Water is peaceful, went around a couple times in the paddle boat provided with the kids. Fire pits are large enough, but you do need to pack in your own firewood or purchase some at one of the houses down the road.
Dark enough for stargazing and shooting stars.
Site 1 and 2 are a stones throw apart, and the sites are in full view of the house across the field. Far enough that we didn’t hear the bustle of the house at all. Owners dropped by to check on us, recommend the paddle boat, good friendly impression.
Daytime noise from the distant road, chainsaws across the pond, some traffic on the property as to be expected.
Trash bin provided was full on arrival, communal fire pit has some trash and broken glass present. Individual pits were clean.
TL;DR not the site if you’re looking to be tucked away. Area could be kept up a bit to improve the appearance. Pack in your own firewood and toilet. Friendly hosts, the workers on site leave you to yourself.
