Once a working dairy farm, the land on which our property is situated now grows corn for our vibrant local farming community. Our home has been in our family for nearly fifty years, and the love shows! We allow wild native plants & medicinal herbs to have free reign, and also plant other edible and pollinator plants to bring beauty and health to the land. The Westport River (Noquochoke) is home to a resurgent population of Osprey and Bald Eagles, along with many other local fauna - we have recently seen a river otter here! This place is truly magical!

Pretty spot
Really beautiful spot on the river. The sites are close to eachother and close to the house but it is still peaceful.

Stunning Riverside Tent Camping
We didn't get to meet Carissa and Adam until the end of our stay, but we have no complaints. Despite our rather last-minute booking on a weekend that was busy for them they made sure that we had what we needed and knew how to reach them. The spot on the river is beautiful, and Westport is a great little town. It feels like visiting the best parts of Cape Cod without having to deal with the crowds/traffic. The site is close to the house, and one other house, but there's enough trees and bushes that it still feels more private than most campgrounds. The fire pit area is really great. We used the fire grate they left over the fire to cook our dinner on, what's better than a campfire dinner?

Stunning Riverside Tent Camping
Breathtaking spot overlooking river
There are two campsites near each other in Carissa’s backyard. We have a tent on top of our car and we were able to carefully make it to the backyard. The view is amazing - seems even better than the photos because you’re up quite high above the water. Amazing spot for bird enthusiasts like us. We saw plentiful red-wing blackbirds, a heron, some kind of gigantic raptor, and all kinds of birds we hadn’t seen before. They come up quite close. One even swooped through our site so close we felt the wind. Amazing. Wonderful shared fire pit. We brought our own stove so didn’t use the grill but it looked great. There were kayaks available too but we didn’t get a chance to use them. We chose to do local hikes instead. Within an hour walk in either direction there are beautiful conservation areas to explore. Be aware that the two sites are close - you can hear the neighbor’s conversations so it’s not a place for those seeking total privacy (unless you book both sites) - but the description is up front about that. Carissa and Adam were thoughtful and attentive hosts. We will be back again for kayaking and local biking.

Close to Horse Neck beach.
Great hosts, beautiful view and quiet place. Thanks Carissa and Adam. We enjoyed the fire, the night (threatened to rain) and the hospitality.

Peaceful getaway
We had a great stay in Westport at Noquochoke Lookout. The site had a beautiful view and access to kayaks. We had a table, fire pit and chairs for use which made the stay easy and enjoyable. We were minutes from Horseneck State Preservation, Tiverton Four Corners and all that the Southern tip of Mass has to offer. Carissa was generous, helpful and a truly wonderful host!
