Learn more about this land: Hello! Our property is located on a private, dead end road that leads to a small beach. The road to the beach is paved so it’s a good spot to ride your bike, scooter, or skateboard. The campsite is simple: flat land to pitch a tent and relax by a fire. If it’s a clear night then enjoy star gazing! There’s an open field to play soccer, frisbee, football, or whatever suits your fancy! We do live next to a train track, so there is the occasional train that goes by. The renowned Yankee Candle is only half a mile away. The Whately Diner is also half a mile away and open 24/7 for those late night meals! Mountains are close for hiking, and multiple ice cream stands are within a 10min drive. Ample options to satisfy the whole crew :)

Lovely spot near the water

Hannah was an awesome host! She was very communicative and friendly, and answered all of our questions quickly. Right by a gorgeous river that we spent nearly our whole trip swimming in to beat the heat. 24 hour diner nearby has amazing food and service. My only complaint about the camping trip was that there are 2 sites and they are in close proximity to each other. This would never be a problem as we love to make friends while camping, but our neighbors were…young and loud to say the least. This was at no fault of Hannah or her place, the everything else was great and as I said she was wonderful! Thank you Hannah!

A good setup - they had very comfy seating by the firepit. The pit toilet was well maintained. The only thing I could want for is a bit more shade - but I enjoyed practicing disc golf out in the big field.

We had a great time! Hannah was so nice and easy to communicate with. We arrived after a week of traveling and just needed a night to fully rest before heading back home so we didn't explore the area but we enjoyed our time resting on the beautiful, big property :)

Nice spot to rest up!

My friends and I were doing a section of the New England Trail. There was no camping on trail for the sections we were hiking, and we are CT residents, so Mass campgrounds are outrageously priced. We just needed a spot to pitch our tents and get a good night's sleep. Hannah was prompt, courteous and helpful. The spot didn't have any shade, but it had a picnic table and fire pit. We were awakened by a train @3AM, but we knew this was a possibility. We had a great experience here and enjoyed a greeting from Neo the pup.

This was the perfect spot to stay for the weekend. Hannah was really helpful and the site was exactly as described. We’ll definitely come back the next time we’re in the area!
