I loved this location, I’m from the town and did not realize this was available. When I pulled up there were agricultural tours going on but everyone cleared out before sunset and I was able to set up a nice secluded area for my fire, great views over the cranberry bog and located closely to convenience stores

Spring Hill Cranberry Farm
Access to this site is challenging, especially if you have a large RV or trailer. Narrow access road with limited turnoff apron, low hanging branches will scrape tall rigs. No room for oncoming traffic to pass. Ultimately decided not to attempt a stay, as did another HC sprinter van. Do not follow Google/Apple map, they will route you past the Roos entry point. Site itself is nice….wish access was better.

Spring Hill Cranberry Farm #2
This is a safe and peaceful place to spend some time off grid. Private but close to homes. As a solo traveler I found the security I was looking for with the feel of being on my own. No tables, water, electric…be prepared to rough it, but with views and a great experience.

Spring Hill Cranberry Farm
Spot is quiet, private and scenic.
Wish we were given a heads up open fires were not recommended by land owner due to an ongoing drought, had to leave camp to get dinner, by time we got back we had to set up tent/ camp in the dark. Narrow off road, glad we had four wheel drive. Wouldn’t recommend a large trailer if you don’t want it scratched.
$75 ($90 after fees) seems high for what it is, maybe $50 imo

Awesome expansive field down a nice private dirt road. All you could hope for to have an inexpensive place right by Sandwich.

What a beautiful, quiet location. Very neat area and history. Plenty of wildlife from momma turkey and babies, deer, fox and lots of birds. Beautiful breeze through the bog added to good sleeping conditions. Will be back!

Absolutely stunning spot to camp! Dave was friendly and helpful throughout the stay. This is perfect for a quiet, primal camp. The bugs were not bad, but there were a lot of ticks as it's situated in a field. Close to the beach and to town but felt like you were in the middle of nowhere. Would definitely rent again!

Had a great stay! Perfect spot to get some quite solitude, which is hard to come by in New England. Close to a lot of beaches which and my old Westfalia had no issues navigating the terrain. Would definitely stay again!

Lovely rural location down a dirt road in a field next to a cranberry bog. Very quiet, safe and private. No facilities at all but just come prepared.

Spring Hill Cranberry Farm #2
I and my companion dog Chloe loved the stay at Spring Hill Cranberry Farm #2 in August.
The roads were in great shape even with heavy rains we had one day I was there. No mud or risk of getting stuck at all!
The area was very peaceful and serene in the mornings and at sunset especially. Very quite and full of nature and a place to quite your mind and relax letting go of all the hustle/bustle of life.
David the owner was very communicative over the Hipcamp application and also stopped by for a chat which was nice.
Would highly recommend given it's seemingly remoteness while being close to beaches, grocery stores and the town of Sandwich!

Spring Hill Cranberry Farm
The farm is scenic and the hosts are very friendly, but there is no power and the entry road to the site is narrow and lined with trees. I have a bunch of new scratches on both my truck and fifth wheel.

My friends and I had an awesome time camping the bog! Dave was super friendly and helped us get acquainted with the spot.
Make sure you read the details. There are 0 amenities (other than a picnic table, some chairs, and a tarp we found), so you have to bring your own gear (although, conversation with the host made it sound like this may change in the future so stay posted)
As for the pooping situation, be prepared to bring a camp toilet, or dog bags (yes, that is what we did, and no, it's not as bad as it sounds).
With that being said, it was an awesome spot! Very private and perfect for car camping. We brought an abundance of gear and supplies, so we had an awesome time!
The trees keep the wind from being a nuisance, and there's a lot of grass. Sleeping in our tent was very soft and comfortable as a result.
If you forget to bring food, there are stores very close by. There's also a packie close by with a wide selection of stuff, for those who are concerned about that.
The spot is also very close to a beautiful public beach (10 min drive). If you get there fairly early, you won't have any problems finding parking. You can also walk there and it isn't too far, but it can be a little complicated to reach that way.
If you prepare properly, you'll have a really fun time and it's a very relaxing little getaway.
