The campsite offers a serene and picturesque setting that guests highly appreciate, with the added delight of fresh sourdough and coffee enhancing the experience. Quiet and spacious, it provides a tranquil escape with the charming backdrop of a blueberry orchard. Many visitors enjoyed the peaceful environment by the pond, complete with the sounds of wildlife and opportunities for exploring nearby attractions like Glendale Falls. However, there was a mention of a concerning coyote encounter, suggesting that wildlife can be more active in the area.

What a sweet spot! Directions were clear and John was great with communication. The site is beautiful, fresh sourdough made our stay even more special. Nice lot to roam among the blueberries, our dogs loved it. Firewood was available upon request which was nice for our travels. There was a perfectly level spot next to the shed for our 25ft class c did not even need levelers. Site was quiet and picturesque and off grid exactly what we were looking for. Thank you for a wonderful stay and the accomodations, hope to be back!

Tent camping and blueberry picking
Tent
The site was fantastic! The tent camp site was very private and back near a pond. The crickets and frogs sung me to sleep and the song of a scarlet tanager sung me awake. The sourdough bread is delicious! I even got to pick some blueberries.

Had an amazing stay on the property. John provided directions and had the fire wood ordered waiting on arrival. Arrived on 95+ degree day and setup the tent by the pond. BBQ’d and setup a projector by the shed. At sundown could hear the yotes in the distance which was awesome. Watched a storm/lightning make its way from the Northwest for over 30 minutes but underestimated how bad it was going to be. The storm hit with a fury with high winds and rain lasting about 30 minutes. Had a 10x10 canopy casualty damaged from the storm. Was expecting the tent by the pond to have been obliterated but when we made our trek back after the storm subsided it was standing completely intact. Spent the rest of the night by the fire and in the morning enjoyed a cool breeze that came through that helped dry stuff out before packing up and heading out. Highly recommend and would stay again.

Beautiful
Tent
First off, this place is magical. Gorgeous blueberry farm that at dawn is a symphony of birds and dusk is covered with fireflies. We camped up by the sugar shack only because of threatening rain. We ended up exploring the near by river and Glendale Falls. If you are looking for peaceful offline experience I would highly recommend camping here.

Lovely private site!

Lovely, private, spacious site. Campsite was clean, the grass was cut, and the lattes and sourdough delivery in the morning made the trip memorable and delicious! Do not count on trees for hammocking and be aware of poison ivy.
Would definitely stay here again!

If you need a place to stay while in Massachusetts, look no further than Blueberry Orchard by the pond. The site is spectacular, but what makes it extra amazing is the host John. He is quite possibly the nicest host we have encountered in our Hipcamp journey. John was so kind and understanding. His communication is also top notch.

This stay was amazing! John was a great host! His communication and responsiveness were excellent. The camping spot is great, right by the pond. There is a walk to the campsite; we brought a wagon to help get equipment from the car to the site. There are also a lot of hiking trails near by. We had a good amount of rain on our trip but we had an awesome time and will definitely be back.

The very best thing about our night here was the loaf of fresh sourdough bread we preordered. Delicious!! Exceptional flavor and texture. The site was great too. Very private, level enough we didn’t need leveling blocks for our van. Beautiful spot.

Unique Setting

We loved camping on John's unique property! It is situated at the end of an unpaved road but we had no problem with our 24' motorhome and tow vehicle. We unhooked the tow and maneuvered into a fairly level spot adjacent to the fire pit. We enjoyed a very private and peaceful evening and the fall foliage was gorgeous! Thank you John

Ultimate Privacy
12 ft travel trailer
This oasis offers everything we were looking for in a remote off the grid spot, which is our favorite kind of camping. Ultimate privacy and beautiful location. It was easy to find and offered ample space to park our truck and camper, set out chairs, set up a table, pull out our awning, and then some. It was a pleasure to stroll the property and served as a great location to visit the surrounding area or just sit back and relax! I loved listening to the barred owl that visited the area each night.

Blueberry Heaven!
22 ft travel trailer · With pets
We had the greatest time with our two young kids and dog at this site. We enjoyed hunting for blueberries and walking around the pond…we spotted turtles and even a porcupine! The spot we found to set up camp was very close to level and perfectly shady. It was so quiet and serene. We highly recommend opting for John’s sourdough and fresh eggs which really added to the experience. The loaf was still warm when we arrived! Amazing star gazing too …it was best and we would love to come back!
