Willows Farm is a beautiful 165 acre, regenerative, cattle farm, raising 100% grass finished beef and high quality hay. We are excited to announce that we have our first 100% grass finished beef ready and waiting (May 2023) for your purchase here at the farm. Give Curtis a call at 301.252.1122 Our farm is family owned and operated and is located in the beautiful rolling hills of northeast Frederick County in Union Bridge Maryland, just off route 75 on a quiet, country road. Please note the farm entrance address is 11935 Simpsons Mill Road, Keymar, MD, but the farm is technically located in Union Bridge. Enjoy the peace and quiet of nature and relax near the campfire with your wood fired dinner. This site has electric and water hookup and firewood is available for a small fee. The campsite is situated at the highest point of Willows Farm, offering tranquil farm views, gorgeous mountain vistas and spectacular sunsets. Soak up the beautiful countryside during your stay on the farm and hike our 25 acres of wooded property and chase a few bunnies and spot a herd of deer. Take a brisk walk to the cattle pastures and chat with our curious and friendly Black Angus heifers, Eleni, Lola and Maggie and say hi to our horse Albe. All of the fencing at Willows Farm is electric to keep our cattle and horse in and you will get shocked if you touch it. Please be mindful of this with your pets and children. If you are fortunate enough to have the timing right, you can even watch an airplane take off and land on our farm grass strip — "Willows Landing", which is just to the north (cardinal direction) of the campsite. Just 30 minutes to Gettysburg battlefields, historical downtown Frederick, and many other exciting places for exploration, Willows Farm is a great location for fun! Spend an evening watching Bull riding and barrel racing at J Bar W Ranch just a few minutes down the street in Johnsville. If vineyards and breweries are your thing we are just 15 - 30 minutes from many fine establishments. A few of our favorites are Black Ankle Vineyards, Linganore Winecellars and Attaboy Beer. Antique shopping abounds in the nearby charming, little town of New Market. So you're hungry and have a hankering for local cuisine? Take a five minute drive to the quaint downtown of Union Bridge and visit one of the three delicious family run restaurants. You can even take a few minutes to give your truck a bath at the Union Bridge Car Wash in the middle of town. Enjoy your stay and please contact us if we can help with anything.

Willows Farm is a beautiful up and coming 165 acre, regenerative, cattle farm, raising 100% grass finished beef and high quality hay. Our farm is family owned and operated and is located in the beautiful rolling hills of northeast Frederick County in Union Bridge Maryland, just off route 75 on a quiet, country road. Enjoy the peace and quiet of nature this site, located at Sunset Hill, has to offer and relax near the campfire with your wood fired dinner. This site has electric and water hookup and firewood is available for a small fee. We listened to our Hipcamper's requests and now have camping in our woods (aka- Willows in the Woods)! Bring your tent or camper van to Willows in the Woods and enjoy some solitude in nature as you explore our 25 acres of beautiful  secluded forest area of our 165 acre cattle farm at Willows Farm. We do have a fire pit at the campsite. You are welcome to use the fire pit and gather any wood found on the forest ground but please do not take wood from our sawmill area. Firewood is available for purchase. Campsite #2 has easy access just off the main farm drive and is very private. If you would like to cook a Willows Farm 100% grass fed burger or a steak on your fire visit our website www.willowsfarmbeef.com to see what we have to offer. A word of caution -  this area and access to this area can become soft and muddy during wet or rainy times.  Please be mindful of this when planning your visit. While staying at campsite #2 you will have access to our newly built Outhouse (pit toilet). Follow the signs to the Outhouse. Take a relaxing nature walk in the lush forest and spot some wildlife or stroll through the woods to the hay & cattle pastures where you will take in fantastic views of the mountains and meet our friendly cattle. If you are lucky you may even see an airplane take off or land at our air strip "Willows Landing", located just a short distance from the woods. We stayed on site one. Had water and electric. It was on a hill where we could look out and see beauty in all directions. It was so quiet, without environmental noise, that it took us a little bit of time to adjust to not being overwhelmed from the outside world. Great place to lay back, take walks, and enjoy the land, the animals, along with the stars at night. Curtis was pleasant as a host. He stopped by but wasn’t too intrusive. Thanks!

We loved camping in the Woods at Willows!! The site felt secluded yet not isolated. The area was spacious and flat. We heard some Owls in the trees at dark and saw several red headed woodpeckers during day. Curtis was very hospitable and helpful. We will definitely go back.

Lovely Maryland rolling hills. Airplane hanger on premises. Water and electricity. Tent site in woods (scary creepy woods) RV's (me) top of hill next to machine shed(some may not like this but fine with me) great view pt. for aircraft t/o and landing. Friendly owners and cattle!!!

Nice private site with paths to walk around in the woods. I had to leave earlier than expected but Ibenjoyed the time I had there. Found alot of downed branches to use for firewood. I saw a bunch of deer. Bring plenty of bug spray because you are down in the woods and don't park under the big oak tree or your car will get hit with acorns.

Amazing views from the top of this site, very private which worked out well for us 6 guys. Host welcomed us and was great. Very clean, nice fire pit, electric was 10 feet from fire pit, ground was very flat which was perfect for tenting.

We really enjoyed ourselves it was a peaceful and beautiful property. We spent 3 nights here just to getaway and hope to go back again. Even got to see a plane take off and land. Curtis introduced himself asked if there was anything we needed and let us know he is always available. Excellent host!

Curtis was a great host. We had peaceful weekend. The farm has amazing views from site 1. At&t has decent cell service there. The spot was level. We had 120v 15 or 20amp service not sure which it was but we had no issues with power. We didn't need AC. Water hook up was next to the site. I recommend this Hipcamp for sure.

What an awesome spot, there’s so much sky to see amazing sunrises and sunsets! I got to see a plane take off from the field, the cow Louise was hanging out. I was only here a short time but it was an incredible time. Definitely a place worth staying at if you’re in the area!! The campsites itself has a firepit you can cook on which is perfect, you can drive right in but it’s back there and secluded at the same time. It was perfect

What an amazing night we spent on Curtis’s farm!! Everything just fell into place so perfectly for us. Just as we arrived, we got to see a plane land in the field near our campsite. After setting up, we took a walk along the property and happened to meet Curtis’s daughter Kaitlyn, who introduced us to all the cows and was very informative. I even got to interact with a two-week old bottle fed Jersey cow named Mikey. My husband had a nice chat with Curtis’s son-in-law and came away with a wealth of ideas and information. We only stayed one night, as we were bringing our RV in for service, but we certainly hope to be back for some more fresh mountain air and to check in on little Mikey.

The dog and I had a great 2 night stay at campsite #2. Tucked away in the woods , it was nice and shady and cool under the trees . Outhouse was a short walk away and was very clean. I pre-ordered a couple of bundles of fire wood that was there waiting for me when I arrived. This is obviously a well maintained and operated farm. Everything was in pristine condition. It was enjoyable to walk the farm property and see the healthy friendly cows. Property owner was friendly and hospitable … came to introduce herself and make sure I was ok on my first day , but otherwise left us to ourselves . I look forward to future visits.

Another great weekend at Willow's farm! Several areas for a hammock, a flat area that looks up at the stars on a clear night, and plenty of coverage from tall trees above. I didn't have to unpack any canopy/tarp to get some shade the entire time. Also, some of the loudest owls I've ever heard!

This spot is a true haven of peace and quiet! I absolutely loved how it was tucked away from all the noise, offering a serene escape. The trees provided wonderful protection from the heat, making it comfortable to enjoy the outdoors. Being able to take a leisurely walk, whether in the woods or on the path, was an added bonus that made this location truly special.

I loved this site!! GPS took me right to it, and the signage once turning into the driveway was excellent. There was plenty of room to pull in, and then back out at the end of my stay. The sunsets were fantastic. We were lucky enough to hear planes one evening just around sunset and went out to see three small planes fly over, one of which landed on their "airstrip." I travel with four dogs, so this place is perfect as they had nothing to bark at and there were no other dogs or people to worry about. The grass area was mowed very short, which made it nice for getting the dogs out and easy to pick up their waste. Curtis was quick to answer a message I sent regarding the location of the dump pipe in case I was in need. (I never did find it, but I chalk that up to me not understanding the directions of "up there, across the driveway along the fence with a rock over it.") There is fencing everywhere, lol...I probably walked past it several times in my search. I will go again to this site for sure.
