It is a secluded location in Southern Maryland with plenty of room for parking, camping, and relaxing. This property features a creek for exploring and ample space for RVs or camping. The location is near amenities (gas stations, groceries, and hardware stores), Patuxent River Naval Air Station, and Budds Creek. Bring your tent, your car or your camper. Water and electricity are available. No restrooms or indoor facilities. Dogs on a case-by-case basis. Small campsite fires can be made - check with the owner at check-in for burn status.This spacious property features woods, water, and quiet living. You can set up camp anywhere, weather permitting, in one of our fields. You can park on or off the asphalt parking areas. You can set up a tent or park your RV. Please leave the space as good or better than you found it. We are flexible so if there is something you need or want to know if we can accommodate, please ask us, we may not have thought to mention it, but that doesn't mean we aren't happy to work with you. We are close to Oak Ridge Park for hiking and baseball games (https://destinationsouthernmaryland.com/places/oak-ridge-park), and Gilbert Run Park for freshwater fishing, boating, and kayaking (https://destinationsouthernmaryland.com/places/gilbert-run-park). We are two miles from several gas stations, grocery stores, and our local hardware store in Charlotte Hall, and 11 miles (20 minutes) from Budds Creek Motocross Park, Maryland International Raceway, and Potomac Speedway. Top Notch people
Fantastic hosts Beth & Jake have a diamond in the rough here. They are fantastic hosts that provide privacy and very helpful knowledge of local points of interest and much needed supply chains. The bottom half of the 5 acres is great for the summer months as the sun sets behind the house and trees. The upper half where the electric and water are located are ideal in cooler months. I will definitely be staying there again. TYVM Beth & Jake
