PLEASE READ THE ENTIRE DESCRIPTION BEFORE BOOKING... 30 acres of mostly reclaimed farmland. We are located where Glade Creek flows into the Monocacy River. There is evidence of civil war activity here and the old river ford is on our property. Creek and river access make this a beautiful, peaceful place that is full of life. The energy here is overwhelmingly positive. Our house was built in the 1850s and the neighboring farm was built shortly after—lots of history on this property. You will be able to camp right next to Glade Creek which is always cool, clean, and refreshing. Our goal with opening the land up for camping is to eventually phase out commercial farming on the property and transform it into woodlands using native plants and trees. We've already started by planting hundreds of native tree species along the creek and river banks. Each camper gets us closer to that goal! Thanks for your support! Site North - Mr. Dennis

Loved this spot for our first official Daddy Daughter Camping Trip. The private path to the river was extra icing on the cake. The site was private and quiet, we even ran into Jon while setting up. We’ll definitely be returning!

Another Great Camping Trip

This is our 2nd time camping at Riverside Farm with our dogs. We love the location along the river and our dogs love swimming in it and we love relaxing & fishing. We’ll definitely be back again. Since our last visit in May, a path was cleared directly leading to the river with signs marking the way, which was really helpful. Thanks!

Site Three - Pelpa

This was a first time going to a HipCamp and it was a great experience! I reviewed the map, before heading to the campsite, and I found that the site was easy to find. My dog loved swimming in the river. I’ll definitely be back and want to check out other sites within the campground. I could hear road noise, but it didn’t bother me. If you’re a light sleeper, might want to bring ear plugs.

Site Two - Budrow Wilson

Great, open spot by the stream next to a beautiful meadow. Our dog Ginny had a lot of fun playing around in the creek and we were treated to an impressive light show by the fireflies populating the meadow. Would recommend and we expect to come back, perfect private getaway.
