Redemption Springs Farm

Seth and Stephanie have created a beautiful haven. We really enjoyed our stay. We will be back. Super nice people. Their staff team member Damien was also quite kind and very helpful. We purchased eggs, spices and meat that look amazing ….. thank you to them both. Btw. Slept soooo well!! 🥰

Mixed feelings

Quiet and beautiful scenery. The only recommendation would be to label the sites clearly and to list “hours of operation” on the website. We had some delays getting to the site, so we arrived late. I sent a message informing him, and he just replied with “ok.” The welcome message said to call when 10 minutes out. I did that and didn't get an answer. We eventually just parked in a random spot because the site was not marked, and there was abundant stuff to get around. In the morning, the host was rude about calling after hours. If he had listed his hours of operation on the site, or replied to my late message informing he that he didn't like people calls after hours, I would have understood. The thing that bothered us the most was his condescending attitude about the call after his expectations of when to call. Citing that he’s a farmer and needs his rest.In addition, when I asked for recommendations on RV dump sites, he sent a non-working copy of a link, but there was no name or number to go by. I’m not say don't stay but if you do, I hope you don't need call and communication

Camping with livestock 🥰

This was our first Hipcamp stay and it was amazing! Seth was a great host and so accommodating, his love of regenerative farming resonates and we enjoyed learning more about this farming method and the importance of heritage breeds. The livestock were so chill yet playful with one another. The cows and sheep cohabitating and taking naps together, and how robust and colorful the feathered friends were! Arvin the sheep is not shy and very approachable, loves attention and getting rubs. Went to their Farm Store and bought beef, pork, chicken, yogurt smoothies, butter, eggs, and rolls. Eggs were fluffy and wonderful, smoothies fantastic, and I made wontons with the ground pork--they were the juiciest and flavorful! Met Jonathan the blacksmith at the store and we had a great conversation with him, he offered recommendations of nearby places to visit, and even joined us for breakfast! The experience was absolutely memorable and we enjoyed every moment including Arvin jumping into our teardrop! Thank you Seth and family for this amazing experience, we look forward to visiting again soon, and we highly recommend Redemption Springs Farm! ❣️

Cozy and secluded

Secluded spot with lots of animals to watch and enjoy. We spent 2 nights, being away during the day visiting family. There’s electric and water hookups but none for sewage. Pretty farmland view and a welcoming host. Wish we’d had a chance to try some of their homegrown food. Guinevere the goose was the highlight for me, so friendly! Thank you Seth.

Wonderful Stay

Most campers enjoy the unique-things along the way. This place is one of those stops along the way. Ours was an in-and-out, overnight respite from the road. Directions were perfect, always a plus.. too often a surprise. Seth greeted us, as we texted him about 30mins out. Seth and his family run this unique farm 'Redemption Springs'. Google them, as they are doing 'it' old-school. Ya know, when food was genuine ... not corporate farmed. Just know you will meet many new creatures you'd expect. Aiden the Ram (yes, a RAM) was particularly memorable. He greeted us like a welcoming puppy.We purchased some goodies from their store while there. I wish they were local to us.... The site was too easy. We drove in and out, effortlessly. Strongly recommended!!

R & R with a campfire

It was such a great weekend! The views are absolutely amazing. It's peaceful and relaxing. It felt like we were miles away, and yet we were only like 2 miles from everything. It is a working farm and the chickens and geese like to know explore. Seth and Stephanie were super nice, and we really appreciated the write up we received regarding the animals they raise. We can't wait to go back!

A Place of Peace and Beauty

Seth and his family, who run a working farm, were the most gracious hosts for this HipCamp spot. The landing for my RV, access to water and electricity, and passage in and out were straightforward. While I spent time commuting to D.C. for business by car and train during the day, upon my return, I was able to enjoy field-view sunsets and quiet nights. The price was reasonable for what was offered and the location enables easy shopping at a few top grocery stores and major hardware stores. The only caveat here is that the roads approaching the farm have some distinct blind spots, so be careful driving and honk your horn on tight turns. The driveway needs some deep worn areas filled in with stone to make it more level, but otherwise is very accessible. Also, with so many peaceful and adorable chickens walking about, I couldn't help but smile high here. Be sure to get your fill of peace and beauty here!

Such a lovely place!! Seth & his family are knowledgeable & kind when you are visiting. The homemade products are refreshing. It was nice to be able to use their camper spots & then set out for adventures in the area. We will definitely keep them in mind if we head out that way again!

Quiet farmstead in busy metro DC

Seth was very attentive to our arrival and helping us find the camper spot, water and electric. Wonderful early 1900’s farmstead with multiple barns. Chickens are very curious. Quiet and secure location 1 hr from downtown DC. We recommend with 5/5 stars

My husband and I stayed here for a couple weeks with our pups and would definitely recommend! Seth and his family were very welcoming and friendly! The location is quaint and beautiful. Overall it was a nice, relaxing stay and we enjoyed our time there!

We had a great stay at Redemption Springs Farm! The farm is located in a beautiful area with stunning views of the surrounding landscape. The family is so nice and welcoming, and they were totally fine with us exploring the property, and letting our toddlers wander and watch the animals. They have a farm store with a wide variety of meats, dairy items, produce, coffee/tea, and more. We enjoyed everything we purchased! We would definitely recommend this farm to anyone looking for a peaceful and enjoyable RV camping experience.
