Best for self-contained campers. There are no toilets, showers, or potable water at this Hipcamp.
We recently purchased this farmland in the winter of 2021. With just over 12 acres, we have 4 acres of cropland and 8 acres of woodland including a small pond. Our farmhouse was built in 1890 and we are slowly working to fix it up since moving in. We have an old red barn that needs to be renovated and a small white garage that might have been a smoke house at one time. This is a working farm where we grow organic cherry tomatoes, heirloom tomatoes, sweet peppers, hot peppers, tomatillos, sweet potatoes, garlic and seedlings.Park your RV or camper on the edge of the woods at Quarter Acre Farm. The space is 20 feet wide by 75 feet long with trees on 3 sides of it. You will have a view of our vegetable field. Our farmhouse is just a two minute walk away but the trees provide privacy for both you and us. Quarter Acre Farm has about 4 acres of crop land and 8 acres of woods including a small pond. The property is home to many wild birds including blue herons, there are other woodland creatures around like deer, squirrels, turkeys, ground hogs and even a fox. We are 10 minutes from Adkins Arboretum and Tuckahoe State Park.
