Peaceful camping with privacy on a 160-acre historic farm! Minutes from Harpers Ferry, Antietam Battlefield and the C&O Canal to name a few. We are within an hour of Gettysburg or DC is within an hour and a half if you're planning a day trip. We have a prime central location with close access to so many things to do. This beautiful property is nestled in a narrow valley between Elk Ridge and South Mountain with incredible sunrises, sunsets and starlit night skies. Walk out to the fishing pond, or follow the trails around the pastures to meet the cattle grazing in our pastures. We have Scottish Highlands grazing in one of our pastures and Black Angus in another. We are a working farm so expect to see tractors and you may even see us baling hay or tending to the cattle. We enjoy talking to our guests so feel free to stop us for a chat.

Highlander Heaven

If you love Scottish Highlander cattle don’t hesitate to stay here. There’s a pasture near the site that has about 18 of these cuddly cows. Stay clear of their horns though. They are not aggressive but the horns are widest and when they turn their head to get at an itch, the horns go with them. There were adults, juveniles, and few 2 week old calves. The farm also has a herd of Black Angie’s roaming around. Kim and Robby are very friendly, welcoming and knowledgeable. Right aside of the RV site you can buy fresh eggs and ground beef. You will definitely enjoy your stay there.

Slice of Heaven outside Frederick

We loved camping here! We pulled in around 11 pm and were nervous about being able to set up our Airstream properly in the dark but everything was well mapped out and explained ahead of time. We were greeted by a little cat which made everything even better. When we woke up in the morning, the highland cows were out and the mist was covering the farm. It was glorious. A little piece of heaven on our cross-country journey.

Peaceful Pond Tent Campsite

What a beautiful property!! Instructions were clear to get to the campsite and also to get snacks or charcoal or firewood. It was very peaceful and clean.
