Wonderful hosts, great space, and really cool vibes. The plunge pool was closed but we made great use of the fire pit & loved the vibe of the whole place. Firewood was amply available for a cheap fee and we especially enjoyed the dogs. Will definitely be back again.

Susan’s sites were laid back and right off the NCR (If you are hiking/biking from the NCR take Kings Rd, not White Hall, much safer). The fire pit area was awesome! Thanks Susan!

Harmony Farm was exactly as I expected it to be. A very cute property nestled in between rolling hills of forest and farm fields. My site had easily accessible electric, backed up to a thicket and creek which were teeming with birds and butterflies and was close to a beautifully laid out fire pit. The indoor bathroom and outdoor shower made life easier. My nights were spent falling asleep to the frogs and cicadas and my days were spent hiking the nearby gunpowder trail, antiquing and taking my teenage son to a wonderful comic book store. The hosts have two lovely dogs who came to visit us a couple of times a day, (because we asked, if you don’t like dogs, you’ll barely know they’re there) and a flock of chickens and roosters who are cute quirky and quite willing to come dispose of my fruit and veggie scraps! The hosts were very quick to answer any questions, I had an issue with the breaker to the electric box and it was taken care of within five minutes. I was very pleased with everything and would recommend Harmony Farm to anyone that would like a stay in the real countryside. The kicker is, my surly teenager would too!

Unfortunately, our stay at Harmony Farm was not what we expected based on the listing. At the time of booking, the listing stated that a cold shower was available, but upon arrival, we were told to use a garden hose instead. The listing was later updated to “no shower,” but this was not reflected when we booked. Accurate and consistent information is essential, and this was a major disappointment. Having a shower was the deciding factor as to why we booked it. On Sunday, the listing was updated from “shower available” to “no shower.”
The mornings were disrupted by numerous roosters that were extremely loud, and one became aggressive and chased me in the yard. Additionally, while the listing stated “no pets,” we discovered a cat in the basement, along with a noticeable odor and a spider in the half bathroom. Guests with allergies or sensitivities would have appreciated advance disclosure of this.
Other advertised amenities were also not usable — the plunge pool was closed during our stay. The property itself felt cluttered, with items such as an old tire and a bench and other items. Combined with loud vehicles driving nearby, it was difficult to rest. On our last morning, the host mentioned we could come inside to shower since the children were sleeping. This was not something we felt comfortable with, so we declined.
Overall, the experience was uncomfortable and not aligned with the information originally provided in the listing.

Overall owners are nice, and grassy area is suitable for tent pitching, However you should be aware there is no use of showers regardless of info. The lawn camping area was infested with mosquitos. If you are alergic to cats , please be aware there is a cat in the basement where the bathroom is.

Susan was an accommodating host and replied to all my questions quickly during my stay. There were some conflicts on the dates with other visitors but the host were able to prepare another camper which was just as comfortable and provided a similar experience as the original posting. The site was quiet and we loved the preserved area around the neighborhood. It was also only a half an hour drive to downtown Baltimore. We enjoyed every bit of the stay.

Susan’s campers were a great couples weekend getaway. Besides the dolly camper susan has another camper. My friend and her bf stayed in dolly, which had a fridge, cozy bed, heater and stove top. My bf and I stayed at the second camper that isn’t listed on the site yet (ask Susan if you need two campers) . Our camper had a comfortable bed full of warm blankets, heater, fridge, stove top and microwave. Our friends came to use the microwave in our rv cuz dolly doesn't have one. Since it’s cold outside we didn’t use the sink or the pipes will burst, Susan supplied us with water plus there’s a sink inside the main house bathroom. At first we weren’t sure if it would be comfortable to use the bathroom since it’s in their home but we had all the privacy, we haven’t seen the hosts once while going in to use the bathroom or shower. Susan left clean towels for us too. We left the heater on most of the time and didn’t encounter any safety concerns. The heater is pretty safe to use and we left it on when we went out so we would come back to a warm camper. Our electricity went out once, Susan responded right away and we found the switch to turn it back on. The switch blows if you use the microwave and heater together. So we shut the heater when we used the microwave and the electricity stayed on for the rest of our visit. At night we lit the fireplace. The fireplace is located between the two campers, giving a cozy feel. We roasted marshmallows while our dogs ran around on the large grass area. There is also a picnic table if you want to eat meals outside. Definitely recommend this glamping experience.
