What a beautiful site! Site 4 is large and mostly shaded with a picnic table and a fire ring with 2 bench seats. There are 2 tall and long tables in addition to the picnic table which made meal prep and cooking on the camp stove so easy! There’s another small wooden structure, though I’m not sure what it’s for, but we used it as a tie out for our dog and it did the job! We loved hearing and watching the creek as we sat by the fire. Plenty of free firewood to use, which is so considerate and thoughtful! The outhouse is a bit of a walk from the site, but it was clean and well maintained. You can park right at the site which made setup and breakdown a breeze. The ground is soft and flat, perfect for tent setup. Scott and his family greeted us on our first night and welcomed us to their land. We had a great time unwinding and relaxing, even in the rainy weather on our last night. We highly recommend this site! There’s grocery and other shops within a 10 minute drive if you need it. We had some cell service but mostly enjoyed unplugging for a bit. We saw and heard so many birds! An owl at night, a great blue heron at the creek and lots of other birds to identify!
