Unique family reunion campfire

My husband, myself, our kids and grandkids all met up at this amazing farm just overnight for a wonderful and rare campfire get together, but wished we had stayed longer. The grandkids loved all the animals but especially Zeus, the big, super sweet dog of the property!
The expansive property accommodates RVs well with plenty of space to be private yet camp amongst the animals. Our camp host greeted us, got us set up with power, and told us all about the workings of the farm and all that was available to us on the property. These extras that you don’t normally get at most Hipcamp properties was really cool! A barn with a restroom and gathering area where chili was available the night we were there along with many homemade and local goodies like shortbread cookies, honey, dried lavender sachets and produce for purchase. We happily donated a small amount toward taking care of the rescued animals on the farm.
A couple of our kids and their families live in the area so we will definitely be back! Thanks Juanita it was a pleasure!!

Juanita's horse farm has plenty of room for RV and tent campers. I enjoyed the quiet country feel, the animals (her sweet dogs, the ducks and geese and the neighbors horse), and the solitude of walking her trails surrounded by autumn trees. The camp hosts are absolutely fantastic. Friendly, accommodating, and generous. They made me feel like family.
The Comus Inn restaurant is a hidden jewel. There are lots of nearby areas to explore, breweries and wineries to sample, and the trails of Sugarloaf mountain are worth your time. I plan to return next year at this time.

Beautiful, peaceful location with an incredibly friendly and responsive host! Getting to say hi to the very friendly dogs and kitten was a definite plus. Plenty of room to set up camp while still being a stone's throw away from the barn with a restroom & running water. All in all a tremendous experience!

Loved the farm so much it was hard to leave. I had to keep extending my stay to check out more of the area. It was very peaceful and everyone was incredibly nice. Hate to let people know because im sure it will be full up when I try to come back, but it is a great place to go.

I had electricity and was able to easily fill my talk. The hosts (Josh and Katie) are VERY welcoming. Juanita is delightful and very accommodating. The geese and ducks are great reminders you are on a farm and the horse next door is very friendly. I saw a deer most evenings. It was quiet and comfortable. Will return soon and next year at this same time.

When I arrived after dark, I was greeted by the campground host, Katie. She kindly guided me to a good place for my camper van. The farm is beautiful and the camping areas are clean and pleasant. I spent a little extra to have the use of the "sniff-spot" off leash area for my dogs; this is an important feature for me. I would happily stay again.

We had a large tenting group that consisted of newbies and pro’s. Booking was easy and the Hosts and Owner were great throughout the process. We were offered a spot that allowed the group to spread out and we spent hours around the fire pit and we were able to have a wonderful movie night. The owner was open to suggestions and I hope she’s able to implement some things that would take this site to the next level.
For Large Groups:
The area does not have lights. So, you’ll need to bring your own in order to see at night. You have access to the pavilion, water and electric but, you’ll have to walk up the hill to access it. We drove or walked using our pull wagon. Had we not brought our own power, tables and water, this would have become a bothersome chore. We parked our cars around the perimeter of the grass because acorns were falling (lots of them, so, watch your head). Keep in mind this site is shared by others, and we had to watch the noise for other guests departing earlier.
Heads up!!! The camp is a designated dog sniff spot. The owners huge dog (friendly) as well as visiting dogs were able to walk up through our camp. We ended up having to keep our dogs locked up majority of the trip.
Suggestions: hanging lights, picnic tables, a water hose leading to the larger site

It was a tranquil setting, with lots of old growth trees and trails. The pavilion, with hammocks and a swing, was so much fun for the kids and made a wet day go by quickly. The chickens and ducks were right near the pavilion, as was a beautiful veggie garden. The camp hosts were so attentive and educational to our child in the garden. We sprung for the English breakfast, and our kid kept talking about it! We wish we could have stayed longer, but we'll go again for a close by camping trip!

This was our second trip here and we’re already planning another. There are options for hookups or to boondock and the camp hosts are fantastic, we got the most incredible tomatoes from their garden and we had a wonderful afternoon at a winery nearby. I almost don’t want to share this gem.

Everybody was very welcoming! Juanita’s land is VERY well maintained, plenty of room for our group to spread out but still maintain privacy. Also, the gingerbread loaf was insanely good. Only 10 minutes drive to the aqueduct to do some fishing which was a huge plus as well. Very glad I stayed and will absolutely be back.

We had our first trip in our RV here and we could not have asked for a better experience. The hosts were kind and friendly and the garden produce was incredible. We had LTE service with AT&T there and were able to stream and work using hotspots. It was so quiet and the ponies were gorgeous!

I was looking for a budget friendly place to park my van for a couple days to do some kayak instructor training and took a chance on this farm. I was greeted by an awesome host, the owner communicated so wonderfully. I felt safe the entire time and loved having access to a real toilet since I camp in a cargo van. The land is gorgeous, I even made friends with a horse. This is a great place and I highly recommend, especially for female solo travelers.

Unfortunately this was not a tranquil stay. I communicated with the host prior to booking to ensure we would have electricity. I’m medically complicated and was traveling with a companion who would also need electricity and AC. When we arrived the camp hosts noted that they were rather full but we would figure it out. There was not a designated spot for us and someone else was already using the 30 amp hook up. They did end up pulling out a 50 amp extension cord and we luckily had an adapter, but we had to “find a spot” and maneuver. It was very frustrating after a long day working and having had to drive for so long. The host was “nice” enough but honestly it was all far more frustrating than it should have been. Later another rig pulled in and I’m not sure they were even able to stay. We left early in the morning.

Juanita has a beautiful property. We boon docked in one of the horse pastures and felt like we had the place to ourselves, even on a busy Memorial Day weekend. Juanita communicates well answering all questions quickly. The check-in process could be a little smoother as it was a bit confusing knowing where to camp and where water or electrical hook-ups were located. I am positive Juanita will continue to improve the property and the process.

We had a wonderful experience at Comus Sky Farm. There was plenty of space, the setting was lovely, and the camp hosts (Katy and her partner) were very welcoming. Juanita was chill too : ). The trails for biking and hiking were great. If we come back to this area, we would definitely stay here again!

Loved staying here with the family. We were welcomed with open arms, had a whole paddock to ourselves with beautiful views, fire ring and firewood. The owner and manager went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed. The property is beautiful and has horses, chickens, ducks and a goose, and the surrounding area is beautiful as well, with Little Seneca Lake 10 minutes away. We’ll be back!

My friends and family loved tent camping at Juanita's property. There was plenty of space, fire rings to spare, a supply of easily accessible firewood, and a Tack Room with a utility sink, a flushable toliet, and hot water. Since there are multiple spaces for tent camping and RV parking, a neat little community forms and it is a delightful experience. There are multiple trails and a stunning sunset from the trail behind Juanita's house - highly recommend you make the walk. Juanita was about the property while we were there and is a gracious host - offered fresh eggs and veggies if we needed them. She also has chickens, ducks, and a Goose that will follow guests around for walks if you are interested. There were campground hosts while we were there and they are the best - checked in on us regularly, helped us transport wood, made sure we knew the layout, and just overall made us feel so welcome. We will visit again!

The place was great! Loved that we got our own field/paddock to camp in. The hosts were attentive and super nice. We forgot s'more supplies and they asked around and they surprised us with some! The perimeter hiking trail was just perfect for little kids to feel like they were on a grand adventure.
