Catoctin Quaker Camp was established in 1958 and its 385 acres are mostly forests. There is a pond, bathhouse, and plenty of land to explore (385 acres). The camp is located on Frederick County's South Mountain formation and is adjacent to the Frederick City watershed which is filled with beautiful trails. We have 8 different cabins available to rent and the option to book out the entire property. Toilets, showers, picnic tables, and potable water are all available on site. Campfires are permitted! No pets allowed. Catoctin Mountain National Park, Cunningham Falls State Park and Gambril State Park are all within a 10 to 15-minute drive. Adventure awaits at Catoctin Mountain Park! Nestled in the Blue Ridge Mountains, this park is the perfect getaway. Hike a trail and enjoy an epic view.

Catoctin Quaker Camp (Entire Property)

We love renting this beautiful property, with more than enough space for our annual gathering of 30-50 adults and children. While the facilities are rustic, they are ideal for a group like ours that has experience camping and likes to be immersed in nature. The opportunities for nearby exploration, swimming, campfires, and the ability to prepare group meals work great for us. David is communicative and helpful, and we can't recommend the property enough.

Great for kids that love camp!

We really enjoyed our weekend. My camp obsessed kid was so happy to ‘relive’ the camp experience with friends and family. There were a few other people around but we felt like the only people there for most of the time. I do recommend Elizabeth and Margaret for being away from the road and close to the bathhouse but the cabins on the other side were in beautiful settings so it is hard to decide. The bathhouse was awesome! Great hot showers and clean. It was cold so we had to look around a little for enough firewood but it was easy to find. We never called the caretaker because everything was explained well.

Another great stay. My son loves the place. Bathroom area is clean as ever with hot water. What a nice get away for the family.
