Field of Dreams
This was a good site for first time tent camping or just to be out in the country. It was closer to one of the houses than I realized, I’m guessing around 20 yards. But this can be good if you’re not comfortable being really far from civilization. It was still private enough, & it will be more so when the leaves & crops come back. We couldn’t see or hear any of the other sites from our spot. I could hear occasional cars from the main road, it was maybe 1 mile away. But most of the night the frogs & bugs were very loud, which I loved. Randy was great, he came to check on us when he got off work. He owns all the houses down farmhouse ln. & lives in one of them. He let us take a walk down to see the off road site & said we could try it out in our vehicle if we wanted. Also, there was a cat wandering around so keep dogs on leash if they like to chase.

Field of Dreams
Tent camping with gorgeous sunsets!
I loved tent camping at Field of Dreams. The host Randy checked in with me immediately after booking to give me all the information I needed. He also gave me his wife's number in case I needed anything when I arrived. We had a big pile of wood waiting for us and the most beautiful sunsets in the evening. We had the pleasure of meeting our hosts as well and they were absolutely wonderful. I would definitely stay here again and I recommend it to my fellow campers!

Field of Dreams
A quiet country oasis. So grateful we found this place and everything went smooth & easy. We were roadtripping home to the West and first we arrived in Boston. Two days’ drive along the eastern seaboard landed us in the DC metro area and public land and opportunities to camp seem few and far between. if not for Randy’s hipcamp not sure where we’d have ended up, but it wouldn’t have been as pretty and peaceful, that’s for sure. Thanks again.

10/10 as always! Our cat enjoyed watching hundreds of birds migrating through the area.
