A quiet and well kept site. We plan on going back, good area for Astrophotography. The outhouse was clean and as expected. The sink with running water made washing dishes a breeze and close to the camping area. Lots of flat space to spread the camp out.

Artsy Woodland Group Hideaway Cabin
Cliff’s cottage was the perfect place to meet up with family coming from a couple of different directions. The space was just as described, and the kitchen was amazingly stocked with pots & pans etc for us to cook and bake with. Tons of trails for walking, or mountain biking, great swimming about 15 minutes away by car. Cliff was very kind and great to talk with. Next time we will know to ask in advance about the hot tub!

This was a great experience and a great hurts cliff was a great host and was able to tell us where everything was and the popular spots in town. Very good set up! Would definitely stay again!

My kids and I had a magical stay! Cliff met us when we got there and showed us around. The kids loved the outdoor shower. Beautiful land in the foothills of cedar mountain, old stone wall right on private camp site near a small stream leading to the river. We slept peacefully to the sound of frogs and crickets and the lights of fireflys.
We did spend most of our time at the nearby lake which was sandy and shallow for a good bit. We found it via the handy hand-drawn map Cliff provided! On the map are local spots for food, ice cream, and gas.
Had a lobster dinner the last night of our stay at the nearby on the map voted Maine gem, and were not disappointed! Nearby pizza we didn’t get to try but people were raving about it. The ice cream place was to die and the servings were astounding.
I definitely recommend visiting this part of Maine, I grew up in midcoast Maine and the different areas and Mountain Views still amaze me.

Cliff was very nice and personal. He also respected me and my husband wanting time alone. It was incredibly hot and Cliff brought us a fancy fan and told us where a lake was close by to cool off. We didnt do any hiking due to the heat n having a snow dog with! We did love seeing the wildlife such as frogs,birds, owls,chip munnks, red squirrels, turtles, and a fox.

We really appreciated the quiet surroundings and beautiful scenery. It was very relaxing. We will definately be going back there. We are already making plans for next year. The only downfall is so far away from civilization. About 5 miles, nearest store

Cliff made sure to meet us on arrival and glad he did. We had short time for a sunset view that he recommended which included a trail hike, but he went over the yurt and amenities and made sure we were comfortable with questions answered. Then he guided us to the most amazing backwater pier for a great outdoor Maine experience. Dozens of bullfrogs and tree frogs made the music for a perfect relaxing sunset. The yurt had what we needed, was spacious, and Cliff made sure we had all the bedding we needed. I recommended spending more than just a night here!

Everything we hoped for! So quiet, but for the wildlife! Beautiful area! Great fire pit! We only did an overnight but definitely recommend staying and exploring! Cliff was a fantastic host! Couldn’t ask for better all around!

Our stay at the yurt was so relaxing and just what we needed. We live close to a city and had been getting antsy to get back in the woods - Cliff's property was perfect. The yurt had a wood stove and was cozy. We brought some extra blankets since the temperature was in the 30s and we slept great! Highly recommend and we can't wait to visit again.

I loved staying at Cliff’s yurt! It was so peaceful and cozy - waking up to the sound of birds was lovely. The wood stove kept us warm. Cliff made sure we were all set and answered any questions we had. We had a full weekend of hiking, relaxing, and exploring neighboring towns.

We loved staying at Cliff's little paradise and enjoyed sleeping in the yurt! We enjoyed the hot tub so much after going up Mount Washington the previous day. We're very grateful to Cliff for welcoming us so well - showing us beautiful hiking trails, preparing the wood-fired hot tub, cooking lobsters and sharing meaningful conversations with us. Cornish area has a lot to offer - good good, stunning forest foliage and nearby lakes. Next time, we'll have to try mountain biking!

Such a great experience for my family.
The yurt was really cool and on beautiful land. Cliff was extremely knowledgeable about things to see, experiences to have and good food to eat. He was so helpful with any questions we had. The last night we stayed a musician came and played around the fire and she was just phenomenal, It was a magical experience that we will cherish for many years.

Cliff’s place was great. The yurt set up is simple but comfortable, and just what we needed. Bring bug spray! We were able to use the hot tub (but paid extra- worth it!) and also build a fire. Our dog was allowed to roam around and Cliff even helped us entertain her a bit. Hope to return for another wonderful visit someday soon.

We had a great stay at Cliff's property! The campsite and the nearby lodge had everything we needed! It was very nice to have running water at the campsite and a hot shower on the lodge deck. Across the street, Cliff has worked to create miles and miles of very fun singletrack --- It's definitely worthwhile to take him up on his expert guide service around the trails. Cliff put together the perfect ride for our interests and abilities.

We totally enjoyed our camping here! This place is really quiet,hidden in the forest and surrounded by the hills. It was wonderful to hear nature's sounds all stay long and and watch the stars at night. There was just one couple with whom we shared firepit, and it was great to meet new people and have a cup of hot tea together. The campsites provide privacy, so we felt absolutely comfortable! And Cliff was so kind and hospitable! He greeted us and our friends at night and helped with everything we needed. Even treated us to wild blueberries that he'd picked himself:) And his dog Watson is adorable!
I will definitely come back to this place!

What a trip! We had such a great time in Cliff’s yurt. He & his dog were wonderful hosts. The site was just as pictured & described and exactly what we were looking for. Definitely going back for his Back Country Excursions mountain biking - so many incredibly preserved trails!
