Best for self-contained campers. There are no toilets, showers, or potable water at this Hipcamp.
This wooded lot is 1 mile from Knights Landing Boat launch, where you can launch your boat, park your trailer for free up the street and swim. Schoodic Lake is a spring fed crystal clear lake that locals claim as the second cleanest lake in Maine with views of Mount Katahdin. Tradewinds grocery store, in Milo just under 7 miles from camp site. Wildwoods restaurant 3 miles from camp site. Schoodic Lake is a great spot for kayaking, water sports or just enjoying the great outdoors. Wood for “very small” campfires provided at tent/RV site, but no other amenities.
