We loved the Maple Grove site! Nothing like waking up in the morning, having cocoa by the fire with a $1 million view.
The site is private but yet close to everything. And bed is super cozy! We are always sad to leave!

Razell and Bentley were amazing! I got into town late at night and they still took the time to walk me through how to get there on the phone and then take me out to the site. The site was amazing, beautiful views and remote enough to really feel like camping. The campsite was stocked with wood and grilling supplies (even stocked with eggs from the farm) when I got there. The site was very clean and well taken care of, you can tell they genuinely care about your experience. Will definitely be back!

This site is absolutely amazing! It has a beautiful view day and night. Very peaceful site! I highly recommend and most definitely will be a repeat visitor for sure!

I looooooooved it here! It was so peaceful and everything I needed was provided. The hosts were so friendly and helpful and my dog played in the lake for hours. Will definitely be back!

Waters Edge - Riverside
Razell and Bentley were very kind and welcoming hosts! We loved staying at their campsite and enjoyed easy access to the water. The bed was comfortable and clean and the covering over the kitchen area was a game changer when a storm rolled in. We were kept nice and dry in the tent and enjoyed every second despite the heavy rain. Plenty of firewood was provided, which we so appreciated, and we made good use of the kayaks (another amazing perk of this site!). The outhouse was clean and easy to take care of while there. We couldn’t have asked for a better stay!

Maple Grove with River Views
It was a very laid back weekend with lots of quiet! The site was nicely maintained and all the necessities were provided. They had even left us some eggs from their farm and some maple syrup! Kayaking was great and the water was very easily accessible! Would gladly come back again!

Raezell and Bentley have thought of everything you might need.

Great private spot! Used the kayaks provided and as well as my own paddle board. It was so nice to be able to go right from the site. Quiet and beautiful. Rezell and Bentley were great and so welcoming. Can’t wait to go back!

I couldn’t recommend Maple Grove high enough. Razell & Bentley were super helpful and friendly, and the site itself is beautiful. You feel a world away, despite having all the conveniences of a city nearby should you need them. It’s truly peaceful, cosy and the kayaking was such a great addition. There’s plenty of flora and fauna to spot, and sitting out by the fire of an evening, cooking and stargazing was wonderful. I came all the way from the UK, and I’m hoping to visit again ASAP. I only wish I stayed longer. Thank you!

We had an amazing time with Razell and Bentley. They are wonderful hosts, the site is immaculate and well cared for. The tent and furnishings are perfect. This was our second year at Ewe Turn Farm and our first at the Water's Edge site. We'll be back next year to celebrate our 5 year anniversary ❤️ Oh, the Farm fresh eggs and fresh maple syrup were to die for!!!! Thanks for everything, we'll see you in 12 months!!!

Waters Edge - Riverside
We and our friends had the most wonderful time at Water's Edge. The spot is absolutely gorgeous, and Razell and Bentley were most gracious hosts. The setting is beautiful and peaceful, we felt completely on our own even though the other campsite is maybe 500' away through the trees. Both tents are well sited, getting plenty of shade in the morning so we weren't up immediately at first light. Cooking both on the charcoal grill and over the fire pit grate was super relaxing. Two things to keep in mind: while the site is very private, you're still in the twin cities, so expect some road noise and light pollution. Also the road to the campsite is a bit rutted, so you may be more comfortable with a higher clearance vehicle -- though we drove two compact cars in and out without any issues, just take it slow! We'd love to come back and highly recommend you check it out!

My husband and I had a wonderful weekend getaway at Maple Grove. The site was very private with everything you would need including a tent over the picnic table, plenty of firewood, and drinking water that was refilled when we needed more. It was a short walk to the waters edge where kayaks were provided along with life vests which was a huge plus. We had a blast exploring the River and the fishing was great! Razell and Bentley were very welcoming and always quick to respond whenever we had a question or needed something. Definitely recommend for anyone looking for a comfortable camping getaway.

We had a wonderful stay at the waters edge site. This site quite literally had everything. Just basically bring food and clothes. We loved how private the space was!
This was our son’s first real camping experience and he loved fishing and kayaking with the kayaks that are provided! This was a great bonus to us!
We would highly recommend this site especially if you are new to camping and don’t have a lot of equipment yet or you just want a stress free camping experience without alot of packing involved.
Hosts were very friendly and responsive to any questions I had. Even left amazing farm
Fresh eggs and maple syrup for us to enjoy! Highly recommend!!

Always a good time here at Water's Edge! Our third time using these sites and they have not disappointed yet. Got some fishing and kayaking in and the dog loved swimming around. The hosts are amazing and provide basically all you need besides food and clothing. This is one of our family's favorite spots to relax.

Waters Edge is peaceful, private, and had nearly everything we needed for a perfect getaway. The site is beautifully tucked away by the riverside, and we were lucky enough to spot a deer, a beaver, chipmunks, turtles, an eagle, and more wildlife during our stay. Our Merlin app even picked up nearly a dozen different bird calls!
The tent is cozy and bedding nice and clean. We enjoyed campfires under the stars, made great use of the BBQ grill, and spent plenty of time fishing and kayaking on the calm water.
The hosts are wonderful and clearly put a lot of care into making the site special. This was our 3rd stay at Waters Edge and we are already looking forward to the next!

This is a fabulous spot. About anything you need besides food and clothing. I would recommend a sweatshirt,( which most of us bring anyw) as waterfront can be windy, but it was beautiful . Plenty of wood for a fire. We used the extra tent they set up for us as there were 3 of us, though a cot would fit inside the main tent if needed. Razell was helpful and friendly and they were great hosts. The provided kayaks were so appreciated and the exploring was fun. We saw geese, ducks, a loon and turtles.

Great spot! Nice and quiet. Tucked away and secluded, but close to everything. We only stayed 1 night, but were given a late check out. We also had access to kayaks and it's a wonderful spot to paddle... We saw a bald eagle! We will definitely be back!

I wanted a fun place to stay but I got so much more - it's a beautiful space to relax and rejuvenate. You'll feel like you've gotten away from it all, but it's not too far away. Admittedly there is some traffic noise in the background, but unless you're very sensitive to that, it shouldn't be a problem.
The hosts are incredibly kind and thoughtful. After they settle you in, you don't see them again unless you need or want to. They provide everything and truly make you feel welcome and supported. You bring your clothes and your food. Their suggestion of a sleeping bag for colder nights is a very good idea. I also recommend bringing whatever you use to make coffee or tea over a fire if that's a part of your morning. The firewood provided was awesome and plentiful!
In case you're wondering, the plastic bag toilet is much easier and more comfortable than it sounds. They take away all that with the garbage, so no worries! All you have to do is remove and tie up the bag. It's fine.
If you are looking for a sweet camping experience without needing to buy, transport and set up all the equipment, consider a stay at Maple Grove. You'll be glad you did!

We loved staying here during the cool fall weather! The hosts were extremely hospitable and thought of everything. The sites are private and nicely spaced apart. The use of kayaks is the best thing! We kayaked at sunset and ended the night cozied up by the fire! We also took a nice hike through the many acres of woods with the pretty fall leaves. The site has everything you could need! We got fresh maple syrup and fresh eggs they were delicious! The site over looks the water and with a cloudy fall day it was like something out of a movie! We hope to be back next year Thankyou!

Staying at the Waters Edge site in Ewe Turn Farm is peaceful and private, plus it has a beautiful water view! You really achieve the feeling of getting away from it all. And at the same time you are only a short drive to stores, restaurants and ice cream shops! It’s one of our favorite places to stay.
Extra tip: go to the Lake Auburn boat launch just across Route 4 for fabulous views of the sunset.

We had a blast at Ewe Turn Farm! The campsite was beautiful with a great view of the lake and stocked with everything you could need + more! The hosts were incredibly kind and hospitable, and provided fresh eggs and maple syrup. The campsite is private, but still a short drive from plenty of stores and restaurants, should you need anything. Highly recommend packing a fishing rod and tackle - kayaks are available to explore the lake, which is full with plenty of perch, small mouths and a few pike.

A perfect spot for a family adventure! The tents were perfect, and just the right amount of amenities provided made this a smooth getaway. We also enjoyed access to the kayaks and being so close to water! Looking forward to our return!!

Wow! What an amazing stay at Maple Grove!
The site was perfect. Everything was set up, I just needed to pack my clothes and the food to eat.
There was even fresh water waiting for me. The hosts also provided fresh eggs and maple syrup from their farm. Such a nice gesture.
The tent itself is large, with a comfortable bed for two people. The view from the tent is quite magical.
I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. I walked, got the kayak on the lake and walked some more.
It was a great retreat and I will surely be back.
