Where do I start? Place was nestled in the woods making you feel peaceful and unplugged. Dave was really nice stopping by to check if everything was okay. A dog bone was left for use (50amp/30amp), a lovely patio set with a black stone, tie out leash and fire pit.even the wifi was spot on. The covered gazebo accommodated my 23RSS nicely, keeping it clean and out of the elements. As we told Dave, we will be back AAA+++

Lazy Bluff was a fantastic location! Minutes to downtown Belfast and a short ride to Camden and other popular destinations. Having a structure over both the camper and patio area kept everything comfortable - out of the hot sun or protected from the rain. Full hookup was great to have. We used extra sewer hose and a sidewinder because we had to run it under the camper.
Lots of level area, so easy to get in and out with truck and camper. At times there was some noise from the road but not a deal breaker. Will definitely come back and highly recommend.

What a beautiful bay town. The Lazy Bluff was the perfect home base! We visited Arcadia National Park, Bar Harbor, took a boat cruise to 5 lighthouses, all within an hour or so drive.
David our host was great, informative and made us feel rifgt at home.
The best part was we were all alone at his place. No crowded, loud Campgrounds. A full hook up, wifi and delicious water! A short drive to town and grocery store.
The town of Belfast has a cozy, welcoming feel. Friendly easy going people, no crowds or traffic. The town has a beautiful bay, good resturants, and quaint shops.
I would recommend staying at the Lazy Buff to anyone who wants to visit and explore the coast of Maine.

This site exceeded our expectations! Great setting and yet very close to Camden, Belfast and Rockland. David is a great individual who really takes care of his property. Highly recommend this site!

The Lazy Bluff
Very secluded and peaceful spot with all the amenities! We absolutely loved our stay. The wifi was very fast and the grill was incredible. The covered and flat pad was perfect, we didn't need to level at all and we very muched e joyed sitting under the cover and watching the rain. This a lovely gem of a spot!

Great site and accommodations. What a way to start a trip through Maine and disconnect in this spot.
The only reason I wouldn’t recommend it is so it has more availabilities for us to come back!

It's a lovely site just as described. Near the road but there was an absence of heavy trucks and traffic was negligible at night. We appreciated the pole barn when we had rain, and the fire pit when the weather was nice. Located near lots of lighthouses, state parks, and the Penobscot Narrows Observation Tower. Very close to Belfast which is beautiful. We have a travel trailer so utilities were on the opposite side when we backed in. We were still able to connect to water and elec. We used a flowmax macerator to dump our gray water. We waited and dumped our black tank when we pulled out to leave. Wifi worked great.

Absolutely fantastic Hipcamp - especially when Hurricane Lee was approaching !!! Outstanding property & structure - don’t hesitate to book - we had an awesome 3 night stay at Lazy Bluff - full hook-up / patio / firepit on a beautiful piece of land - minutes from Belfast & Camden Hills state park - felt totally safe & secure - exactly & better as described - thank you David & Dace property manager for excellent service & communication- we will definitely return if back in the area & recommend highly

The site was great. We were there a week. Absolutely no complaints. The only thing I will say is this site is mainly for RV's. If you back your travel trailer in, then your hookups are at the opposite end and your door is opposite of the patio. Besides that we loved the privacy

The Lazy Bluff
We had a great stay! We had last minute change of plans due to an approaching storm and we were able to book this site on the same day. It is a private lot conveniently located in Belfast with easy access to downtown Belfast, Lincolnville and Camden. The RV Port has beautiful post & beam construction a and polished floors, really well done. It featured a little kitchen area with a sink and running water. Overall 10/10 would recommend.

We enjoyed our five day stay at Lazy Bluff. The timber frame pavilion is beautiful and the extra covered patio space is appreciated. David T was responsive and got back to us promptly with answers to our questions. The property manager, who was polite and courteous, came by several times to make sure everything was okay.
We knew going in that the connections for Lazy Bluff are set up for a Class A Motor Home (power, water and septic). This is not a pull through site so we backed our trailer into place beneath the pavilion which puts the connections on the opposite side as usual. Water and power was not a problem. We added an extra length hose for gray water. We did not attempt to empty the black water tank because the low angle of the hose gave us little gravity; our trailer is lower than most. It all worked out fine.
There is a resident bard owl who entertained us. We made day trips to Belfast, Stonington, Camden Hills State Park and Vinalhaven and enjoyed our time in the area.

We loved our time at the lazy buff. Great spot, quiet and near a lot of commodities. Great communication with the host, the installation are awesome and the wifi is a nice plus value.
