A single road connects Newbury Neck with the rest of the world. The cottage is 8 miles out on a 9 mile road. It's a prime for biking, kayaking, beach combing, and day tripping to Acadia National Park, and all over the Blue Hill Peninsula, or further north to the Bold Coast or south to the Mid Coast. Compost bin, recycling bin, trash bin. We have an active compost for vegetable waste on site. Trash and recyclables to be separated. Owner hauls them away at end of stay.

Cooking equipment present

Grill over firepit, private, oven, fridge, freezer, cookware, cooking utensils, dishware, cutlery, basic seasoning and oils, sink or other dishwashing station. There is fully stocked kitchen with utensils, cookware, 4 burner gas stove, utility sink, coffee press, hot water pot. Gas Grill outside.

Picnic table present

Outdoor adirondack chairs and bench which can double as a table. There are also Beach chairs.

Laundry in Blue Hill is recommended. But if you are in desperate need, owner has been known to do small loads. on site.
