Really nice stay in the Maine woods. Quiet and private. Centralish location for Augusta, Boothbay, and Wiscasset, all of which we wanted to visit.
Hookups were all great and the water pressure was good. Only issue we had was that the 50-amp electrical connection is in a power box with a narrow space for the cord. Totally fine if you have a 50-amp power cord, but we needed to use a 50a-to-30a converter and our dogbone style one proved too wide to fit in the cable area. We were able to pickup a different style of adapter at Walmart and that worked great.
Met a friendly neighbor who took us out on the lake in her boat, so got a free tour of the area too! Communication with the host was fast and easy.

Serenity Pines was a nice spot to relax at. It was a good location for exploring the area. We appreciated the electric, water and sewer hook ups making it more comfortable. Most importantly, our dog loved cooling off in the lake!

Craig welcomed us on to his land and was easy to communicate with. The site offered water, electrical and sewer which was very convenient. We enjoyed walking the property. My husband enjoyed biking around the lake.

Quiet site in a great location

Craig was very helpful and responsive.
Extremely quiet at night. Loved hearing the coyotes and the owl as well as seeing the deer several times on our drive in and out of the private road.
Great location, the lake is beautiful and we did some fishing off the dock.

This was a great spot for my new camper to break it in with hook ups for everything. I messed up and had to go buy the right power cord (30-50amp) for the outlet but there was a store close. The fire pit was big with plenty of wood provided and it was a nice area to be. Would definitely stay again.

We really like the site. It was easy to access, clean and very pretty. My husband enjoyed running in the morning and the kids had a great time by the fire pit at night. Booking was easy.

The place was clean and inviting. There is a gravel driveway so everything stays clean. Easy access to water on the building. It was very quiet and private. We enjoyed our stay our alot and would go back again.

Really private, wonderful place to relax. Everything we needed ( electric/water) super easily accessed. Lots of firewood provided too! Craig was quickly responsive and so very helpful. A beautiful place to camp

We were so happy to find a quiet, out of the way, dog-friendly camping spot. And we’re particularly thankful for the full hook-up with 50A service since there was a heatwave going on. Craig has done a lot to make his barn-side camping spot a sweet place to stay. There is a wonderful fire pit with wood included, nicely cleared out for fire safety. And a good, clean picnic table with wood chips underneath, for outdoor meals. We even had extra space for a screen house—which was nice in the evening when the bugs got thick. (Next to no bugs during the day.) And we could peek at the lake through the trees.
Craig said we could use the lake, but we were a bit shy to be down there when he was down with his friends. But I did enjoy some nice swims from his dock around their peaceful cove.
Craig invites dogs off leash, which was great for our pooches—but there was some traffic on the gravel road there near the barn—so you will want to keep an eye on your dogs. And, of course, you should like dogs. His are friendly, and want to come up and say hi every so often. We enjoyed meeting Jas and Lola.
All in all we were very happy with this location.

Clean level sight with nice picnic table area. Real nice fire ring area with firewood supplied. Power, water, and sewer hookups a real plus for those of us in campers. Would definitely stay there again.

If you are looking for a peaceful, secluded getaway this is it! Beautiful tranquil spot with a view of the lake through the trees and the sound of loons. Set up is great! Their dogs came to greet us and plenty of room if you are bringing yours . Close to Boothbay which is convenient. Craig was very quick to respond and a pleasure.

We had a wonderfully peaceful night at Craig’s spot. Listening to the Loons call as we fell asleep was an extra. Craig provided everything we needed: a level spot, electric, water, and a place to empty our tank. We highly recommend staying here and look forward to visiting again. Oh, the electric is 50 amp so make sure you have an adapter.
