We had such an amazing experience at this camp! From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel incredibly welcome, everyone was so friendly, helpful, and genuinely kind. The entire place is spotless, which made our stay even more enjoyable and comfortable. One of the best surprises was discovering they had a pool, it was such a fun bonus and the perfect way to relax after a day of exploring. And to top it all off, the camp is dog-friendly, which was a huge plus for us! Our pup had the best time, and it made the experience even more special. We truly enjoyed every moment and can’t wait to come back. Highly recommend!

We stayed here our last night on mount desert here. Close proximity to hiking and echo lake. It was quiet, the pool was great, we used the paddle boat on the quarry and the staff in the office were so kind! We rented kayaks in the morning before we left, highly recommend! saw lots seals, porpoises and eagles pretty close up. the sound was so quiet and peaceful. There are a range of different sites and even though ours was closer to the road, it was still very quiet. I definitely would stay here again!!

My friend and I have stayed at this campground a few years back (when it was under a different management). There has been significant improvement in the amenities as the bathrooms were renovated and there has been some site changes to the campground including some platforms to camp on. The campsite is quite intimate, but also rustic. There is a lot of space to park your car and set up a tent. There is a campfire with the ring to contain the fire and also water and electric (on our specific site at least). The bathroom was very clean and in great condition with hot and cold water. There are rentals for kayaking if thatʻs something you are interested in. We didnʻt have time to do that, but itʻs a great option to have as there is access to the Somes Sound Fjord at the bottom of the hill. We look forward to returning again!

Great campsite, clear instructions, in a more secluded area so no street noise. Added amenities were a nice bonus as there’s a pool and small lake where you can paddle boat. Great location close to Acadia national park.

The staff are very friendly and helpful. The facilities were surprisingly clean, I cannot tell you the amount of times I have gone to a campsite shower and feel dirty leaving then when I went in, not the case at this camp site, they were spotless. The water to every pitch was also a pleasant surprise and there was actually hot water available all the time. The site backing onto the ocean was beautiful and honestly a strong selling point.

Lovely private campground! Tucked into nature with deer popping in and out to say hello! Staff was extremely responsive and helpful, and facilities were maintained to an exceptionally clean level! If we’re ever back in the area we would surely stay again!

ABSOLUTELY INCREDIBLE CAMPGROUND!! Sites were clean and spaced well apart. Staff was friendly and helpful. Bathhouse was SUPER modern and very clean. Kayaking on the lake was exceptional. We camp A LOT and agree that this place is our favorite. You will love it here.

We absolutely loved our stay at the rustic cabin at Quarry Ledge Campground! From the moment we arrived, we felt completely relaxed and welcomed. The cabin itself was spotless, cozy, and thoughtfully outfitted with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. One of our favorite parts was the peaceful setting nestled among the trees, and overlooking the water. We can’t recommend this rustic cabin enough and can’t wait to come back for another stay. Thank you to the staff for creating such a wonderful place to relax and recharge!

The bathroom facilities were very nice, and the setting is also pretty. The availability of Wi-Fi and perhaps the pool seems to attract a younger partying crowd perhaps. We were unfortunate sandwiched in between two groups of partying kids, leading to one of the worst nights of camping in 40+ years. No campground host seem to be an evidence, and even after being told to keep it down the noise kept going till three in the morning. So despite the fact that the facilities are actually quite nice, we would not return.

Very convenient option for exploring Acadia. Camp sites are a little close together, but big enough to accommodate our camper van. Staff was very friendly & helpful. Bathrooms clean & new.

A perfect place for us to stay last minute. Quite frankly one of the nicest campgrounds I’ve ever been to. The quarry is such an interesting and unexpected centerpiece to a property, and the bullfrogs calling to one another at night… super cool. Once the weekend crowd arrived it was a little busy, but after dark it was totally silent even with everybody around their campfires. Really respectful, really clean, really well kept. I can’t recommend this place enough and I will be returning the next time I’m on the island.

Overall we had a great experience. Unfortunately, the site was closer to a few other camps and we didn't have the privacy we expected. We got moved from a site that I would have preferred that seemed to have more space. There were also a few houses really close and the road was not by our site but still close. The porta potties started off fairly clean at the beginning of the weekend, but weren't cleaned again until Monday. Not cool. However, the nice bathroom area made up for this, although it was a further walk. It was very clean and very nice compared to most other sites shower areas. The store was convenient although small and the pond was nice to look out onto. A good amount of greenery as well and well kept. The staff was friendly and helpful. It was close to most activities as well. The cost was a bit steep compared to other campgrounds, but we got it late towards our arrival date and there were available spaces. Overall decent just the cost and distance between sites could be better.

What a lovely property this campground was. We checked in after the office closed, they had a box outside the door with my labeled envelope containing a map to our site, rules, etc. We stayed down in the waterfront tent site section, at site "ANCHOR" which was wonderful. Had really cool rock fireplace, picnic table and views of the sound. There were about 6 waterfront tent sites total, all with great views of the ocean, water spouts very close, 2 portopotties very close, cornhole, and a floating dock for you to enjoy. In this section, tent site "SUNRISE" by far had the best view in the whole place, with its own wooden tent platform right by the water. Full views of the sound. We'd stay at this site if we were to ever go back. Tent sites felt very safe. A few differenf single campers came through during our 3 night stay. Pool looked very clean. This campground was excellent—great location, convenient to all of Acadia National Park, with great amenities. The campsites are well kept and the bathhouse is clean and comfortable. Our site was right on the water of Somes Sound for great views and easy access to the water with a rented kayak or paddle board. Would definitely recommend Quarry Ledge as a place to stay when visiting Acadia.

Tent sites in the campground were well sized, had a fire pit and bench for seating. Firewood and ice available for purchase at the front office, campers have access to the toilet and hot shower which was welcome after hiking in Acadia.

This was a top three campground for us-and that says a LOT! We had the perfect site.
This was a top three campground for us-and that says a LOT! We had the perfect site. The bathrooms were the cleanest and nicest we have encountered. The staff was friendly, welcoming and posted great local intel. You can paddle, fish, boat or swim from the dock. It's a quiet place but close to all of the ANP hiking, kayaking and carriage trails for biking. Perfect location. Just wow.
