Veteran Owned Campground. The five campsites are overlooking the Medunkeunk Stream. There is an Outhouse that is considered Glamping outhouse of Chester, fire ring and 2 shared picnic tables. This Campground is also part of the Penobscot River Paddling Trail. There is plenty to do in the area or nothing to do if you so please.This is a Veteran owned and operated Campground. We have 3 campsites which are situated overlooking the Medunkeunk Stream. A short walk down the trail to the water gives you access to the Medunkeunk Stream for Fishing, Kayaking, Canoeing and Swimming. Large outhouse big enough to change in, Showers are also available 6pm-9pm. MT Katahdin and Baxter State Park and Acadia National Park are within driving distance. Military museum is 9 miles away. There is plenty to do in the area from Golfing Fishing the many lakes Site seeking and ATV trails as well. You can pull a vehicle to the campground, unload then take it to the parking area.
