Enjoy the wood’s embrace~
Julia’s land provided me much needed space during a career transition where I left everything behind and hopped into the scary unknown.
Being able to have a week of sleeping when the sun set, and waking when it rose, gave me the refresh that I needed.
On clear days you can see the stars and, since it’s so quiet, you can hear every subtle animal noise you normally would not be able to in the city.
The campsite I stayed in is next to the road and while normally this would be an issue, the drivers are so few and far between at night that it’s somehow pleasant. (I also got lost in the woods during a walk and in that moment I was so happy I had a road to follow home).
Oh! I highly recommend checking out Pineland Farms (can’t forget this). I would go there in the mornings before work for breakfast, hot water, and the bathroom. They have great food, coffee, even some groceries. 10 minute drive, if that.
Julia gave me plenty of tips, city boy that I am, and helped me find some supplies I was missing so I wouldn’t freeze at night. She was extremely courteous and hospitable and I hope that you have the pleasure of staying here on this beautiful land.
(She also has an Airbnb inside if the weather ever gets too extreme and she has vacancy just FYI)
Did I mention the price is quite reasonable?

Field Tent Site
This was an incredible site, really glad I stayed here. I got in later than I had planned and Julia was helpful and chill. Site was easy to get to and enough in the trees to feel protected and enough near the driveway to make it possible for mud season. Close to several places to take my dog on a hike. I wanted easy and simple and it was!
